Premium Bandai Branch! Premium Bandai Branch" has started accepting pre-orders for " Mobile Suit Gundam x INDEPENDENT Zeon Army Watch 40th Anniversary Model " (54,000 yen including tax, shipping and handling fee not included).

This watch is a collaboration with "INDEPENDENT" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of "Mobile Suit Gundam!

Based on the original taste and design of "INDEPENDENT," the watch will be available in two types: the "Char Model" and the "Zeon Model.

The "Char model" features a red dial with the design from the "Red Comet" and a black case and belt, with a gold "Char" mark shining on the lower part of the dial.

The "Zeon model" has a green dial reminiscent of mobile suits such as the mass-produced Zaku, and a silver case and belt combination with a gold "Zeon mark" below the dial.

Both models also have the Zeon mark engraved on the back cover.

The square cube-shaped crown for adjusting the time is gold-colored for the Char model and black-colored for the Zeon model, in contrast to the round shape of the main body.

By incorporating the opposing shapes of round and square into a single design, the concept of "INDEPENDENT" is expressed as "freedom with intention.

The special box, designed especially for this project, will feature the "Zeon Mark" and "PRINCIPALITY OF ZEON" in a luxurious gold foil print.
The sleeve covering the box will include the Mobile Suit Gundam 40th anniversary logo.

In terms of functionality, the watch also offers a full range of specifications, including a solar-tech radio-controlled clock, calendar, and 10 ATM water resistance.

The watch is equipped with SolarTec, a photovoltaic technology that eliminates the need for regular battery replacement, a radio wave function that also automatically corrects the time and date, and is also water resistant to 10 atmospheres.

Product delivery is scheduled for May 2019. Pre-orders will be accepted until March 13, 2019 at 23:00, but please pre-order as soon as possible, as the pre-order period may end once the number of available units is reached.
