Metro Exodus" to be released this week on February 15, new trailer released & pre-order bonus "Metro Redux" for Xbox One version changed to early purchase bonus.

Spike Chunsoft has released a new "weapon trailer" for "Metro Exodus," a survival shooter for PS4/Xbox One scheduled for release on Friday, February 15.

The "Metro" series is a popular survival shooter that takes place in the city of Moscow, which has been devastated by a nuclear war, and the Moscow Metro, where those who escaped the devastation live. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be published for the Japanese market by Spike Chunsoft, a company known for its high quality Japanese localization of games such as "The Witcher 3" and "Conan: Outcast". In "Metro Exodus," the latest title in the series, the protagonist Artyom and his friends take the steam locomotive "Aurora" and embark on an epic journey across Russia. The Xbox One downloadable version of "Metro Exodus" was previously available as a pre-order bonus with a download code for "Metro Redux," a set of the first and second titles in the series. However, due to various circumstances, we are unable to begin accepting pre-orders for the downloadable version at this time, so we are switching the pre-order bonus to an early purchase bonus. All customers who purchase the Xbox One downloadable version of the game from February 15 (Fri.) 0:00 until March 15 (Fri.), when the product is scheduled to go on sale, will receive a "Metro Ridax" download code.
