Spike Chunsoft has released a new "Nightmare Trailer" for "Metro Exodus," a survival shooter for PS4/Xbox One scheduled for release on Friday, February 15.
The "Metro" series is a popular survival shooter that takes place in the city of Moscow, which has been devastated by a nuclear war, and the Moscow Metro, where those who escaped the devastation live. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be published for the Japanese market by Spike Chunsoft, a company known for its high quality Japanese localization of games such as "The Witcher 3" and "Conan: Outcast. In "Metro Exodus," the latest title in the series, the protagonist Artyom and his friends take the steam locomotive "Aurora" and embark on an epic journey across Russia. While focusing on the series' characteristic storytelling, the game also introduces a highly flexible field exploration element for the first time in the series. With the addition of exploration and sub-quests, the scope of gameplay enjoyment has been greatly expanded.
