JAM Project Special Live 2019 A-ROCK" Live report on the first day of the Tokyo concert.

On January 25, 2019, anime song unit JAM Project's live "JAM Project Special Live 2019 A-ROCK" was held at Toyosu PIT. Following the Osaka show, the Tokyo show was titled "Early numbers" on the first day, with a lineup of songs from 2001 to 2011. Including encores, the band performed a total of 56 songs (106 songs in total for the two days), giving the audience a boost for the 20th anniversary in 2020.

When it was time for the show to begin, artist photos and live images of the members were projected on the stage. Fans were already excited to see the latest visuals and nostalgic images from the early days of JAM Project, as they counted down the history of the group.
The live started with "SOULTAKER," the OP theme song of the TV anime "The Soul Taker. The stage was dyed bright red by the psyllium waved by the fans, and the audience started shouting "SOULTAKER" as the song approached the chorus. The second song, "CRUSH GEAR FIGHT! and the third song "King of Adventure ~Across the Legendary kingdom~" at once, Masami Okui said, "Good evening everyone! Good evening! Welcome to A-ROCK! and announced the opening of the live.

During the first MC, Yoshiki Fukuyama, who saw the all-standing, packed audience, commented, "The population density is amazing today. About 5,500 people packed Toyosu PIT over the two days, and the enthusiasm of the fans made the audience forget the cold weather outside. As if inspired by the power of the crowd, leader Hironobu Kageyama said, "I want to create the best memories with everyone at today's live! We're going to show you a powerful medley! and launched into the "Super Robot Taisen" OP medley. Starting with "Break Out," the band launched into a medley of high-tempo songs. The live performance was not only good, but also the songs were in great shape: the members showed off their posing skills by putting their fists in the air during the 6th song "Crest of "Z's"", and during the 12th song "VICTORY", they all clapped their hands together in the center of the stage. The 12th song "VICTORY" had the audience's eyes glued to the stage by the actions of each member.
Kageyama's DJ KG's corner started next. 30 songs were performed during his two DJ performances, many of which were theme songs and insert songs from anime, games, and special effects. After the DJ performance, Kageyama smiled a little shyly and said, "I think I've improved about two centimeters since the Osaka performance.

The second half of the live was "GARO~SAVIOR IN THE DARK~", the OP of the TV drama "GARO". The psylliums, which had been red until then, were now golden, the color of "GARO," aka "Golden Knight," and the fans created a stage that was suitable for the song. In the end, Masaaki Endo sang solo in the silence and received thunderous applause.
After the "Super Robo" ED medley, the psyllium lights were turned off for the 37th song, "KI・ZU・NA～10th Anniv. The audience listened to the members' singing voices in the calm scenery that was different from the hot atmosphere of the past. The collaboration with the fans, who created a space that matched the music, was a reminder of the path that JAM Project has taken.

Finally, the first day of the performance came to its final spurt. The passionate song "Hurricane Love" had everyone waving their towels in the air, and the tension was growing even more intense. During the interlude, the band members performed superb solos, which accelerated the intensity of the performance.
The final song was "Rescue Fire" from the TV drama "Tomica Hero Rescue Fire. Kageyama finished the powerful song strongly and sang "Bakuchi zheng shin shin shin! and the key line of the song was sung in a salute pose. He left the stage with the excitement still high.

The audience cheered "MOTTO! MOTTO!" and the five members took the stage again wearing A-ROCK T-shirts. Thank you for the encore! We're great too," they said gratefully. Kageyama said that they were thinking of 2019 and 2020 as a set, "We will continue to make this year exciting, and next year we will celebrate our anniversary in a big place, for sure! The audience's excitement reached a climax when he declared, "We're going to continue to make this year exciting, and next year we'll definitely have a big anniversary! The crowd went into a frenzy as he continued, "Let's burn up together for the encore! and sang "A-ROCK ~Dennou Wars~" from their latest album.
The last song of the encore was "SKILL", the OP theme of the game "The 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha". The fans shouted "Fly with the will to die! the fans jumped as hard as they could. The excitement of the audience grew as they shouted "MOTTO! The live performance reached a spectacular finale with Hiroshi Kitadani announcing a local story as the head of the enlivening department.
At the end of the show, the members lined up in a row and joined hands, with Kageyama saying, "Everyone always supports me! You always have my back! Thank you! He exclaimed, "You always have my back! The fans sang three Hail Mary's together and Toyosu PIT was filled with a special sense of unity.

On the second day of the show, "Later Numbers," the band announced the release of two new songs: "Shizuka no Apostle," the theme song for the second season of the TV anime "One Pan Man" and "Tread on the Tiger's Tail," the theme song for the PS4/Nintendo Switch "Super Robot Wars T" on April 24. JAM Project will continue to push forward toward its 20th anniversary in 2020.
