This is the new form of "TENIFEST"! Report from "TENIPRI BEST FESTA! Seigaku vs Hyotei", we report on the 19th, where all the members of Hyotei were present!

The "Prince of Tennis" event "TENNIPRIS BEST FESTA!!!", which marks the 20th anniversary of the series, was held at Zepp Diver City in Tokyo. Seigaku vs Hyotei" was held at Zepp Diver City in Odaiba, Tokyo.

The popular manga "Prince of Tennis" (also known as "TENIPURI") by Takeshi Konomi has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 1999, and has been adapted into a TV anime, musical, and live-action movie.
In January 2012, "New Tennis no Oujisama", a very popular series in "JUMP SQ." (Shueisha), was adapted into a TV anime, From October 2014 to June 2015, all five volumes of "The New Prince of Tennis OVA vs Genius10" were released.
At the "TENIPURI FESTA 2016 - Gassen" held in October 2016, the start of the "Movie version project" by executive producer Tsuyoshi Kuhi was announced, and this extremely popular work continues to attract an even wider range of fans. The original "Prince of Tennis" will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its serialization in 2019.

This year, on January 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun), 2019, "TENIPRI BEST FESTA! Seigaku vs Hyotei" was held at Zepp Diver City.
The event was attended by Junko Minagawa (Ryoma Echizen), Ryutaro Okiayu (Kunimitsu Tezuka), Takayuki Kondo (Shuichiro Oishi), Yuki Kaita (Shusuke Fujii), Hiroki Takahashi (Eiji Kikumaru), Naru Kawamoto (Takashi Kawamura), Masaya Onosaka (Takeshi Momoshiro), Kohei Kiyasu (Kaido Kaoru), and Junichi Suwabe (Keigo Atobe), Hidenobu Kiuchi (Yushi Oshidari), Toshiyuki Kusuda (Ryo Shishido), Soichiro Hoshi (Takehito Mukohi), Yuji Ueda (Jiro Akutagawa), Satoshi Tsuruoka (Takahiro Kabachi), Daisuke Namikawa (Chotaro Hori), and Yukimi Iwasaki (Waka Hiyoshi) from "Hyotei Gakuen Middle School" took the stage. The event was enlivened by the character songs of each character, and we will report a little about the evening session on January 19, the first day of the event.

The most exciting event in the "Prince of Tennis" series, which has been held in 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2016, is the "TENIPURI FESTA. Each time, more than 40 cast members gather at the Ariake Colosseum and Nippon Budokan for this large-scale event, which fans look forward to with great anticipation.

This year's "Tenipuri BEST FESTA! Seigaku vs Hyotei" is a title from the new OVA "Prince of Tennis BEST GAMES! The event took its title from the new OVA "Tezuka vs Atobe. Prince of Tennis BEST GAMES! Tezuka vs. Atobe" was produced as a project to re-animate the most popular matchup cards from the many famous matches depicted in "The Prince of Tennis" in the past, and was shown in theaters for a limited two-week period starting August 24, 2018.
This event, titled after the new OVA, differs from previous "Tenipuri Festas" in that it is a new attempt to narrow down the concept of the event, and is composed of performers carefully selected according to that concept. The first "TENIPRI BEST FESTA! Seigaku vs Hyotei" focused on Tezuka and Atobe in the OVA, but the event was expanded to include the entire schools to which they belong, Seishun Gakuen Junior High School and Hyotei Gakuen Junior High School, respectively.

The "BEST GAMES! Tezuka vs. Atobe" theme song "BEST GAMES! was performed by Ayasa on the violin, and the introduction VTR of each character was shown on the screen.

The highlight of the event, which was filled with such enthusiasm, was the presence of all the regular members of Hyotei, who had participated in the first round of the Kanto Tournament.
The long-held wish to have all the regular members of Hyotei appear on stage, which had never been realized even in "TENIFES," was finally fulfilled on this stage.
The moment all the cast members gathered on stage, it was as if the fans could feel their heartfelt feelings as the venue, Zepp Diver City, with a capacity of less than 2,500 people, was filled with cheers as loud as those of "Tenifesu" held at the Nippon Budokan, which has a capacity of 10,000 people.

When the announcement announcing the start of the match echoed through the venue following the theme song, the venue, which had quieted down for a moment, was once again filled with loud cheers and the customary calls of "Hyotei to win, Aogaku to lose" rang out. An animation depicting the stands at the game was shown on the screen, and the call changed to "Atobe will win, Tezuka will lose. The live recording of the movie drama "Summit Battle" by Tezuka and Atobe followed. The audience gasped as Okiayu and Suwabe, who play Tezuka and Atobe respectively, recorded the scene before moving on to the character song corner, where solo character songs were performed one after another.
After a hilarious talk session by the Aogaku members on the theme of "aspirations for the year ahead," the event moved on to the second half.

The Hyotei All-Stars sang "Valentine Kiss" together, and the audience was excited by the cute choreography reminiscent of Sayuri Kunio, who sang the original song in her "Onyanko Musume" days. The entire cast appeared again for an encore and sang "Gather" together, followed by the full chorus of "Beth Fest - Are We Cool? ～The audience was united by the song "Gather" with all the casts, and the audience was united once again by the full chorus of "Bessufest - Are We Cool? Seigaku vs Hyotei" closed with thunderous applause.

From now on, "BEST GAMES! will be released on April 5, 2019 (Friday) for a limited two-week run, and the third installment, "Fuji vs Kirihara," depicting the Kanto Tournament final, is also in the works.
In addition, "Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis" will be released in early spring 2020.
