PS4/Switch/PC "Oni no Wailing Kuni" to be released in summer 2019! New Action RPG by Tokyo RPG Factory

Square Enix announced the new action RPG "Oninonakukuni" (Oni no Wailing Kuni) during the "Nintendo Direct 2019.2.14" broadcast today, Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 7:00 a.m.

Oni no Wailing Kuni" tells the story of "life" spun by the main character Kagachi, who travels between this world and the next to save lost souls, while switching "Onibito" (a so-called "job") in real time. The action RPG is characterized by exhilarating and strategic battles in which players switch between "Onibito" jobs in real time.

The first trailer, storyline, and information on the main character Kagachi have arrived for this Nintendo Switch/PlayStation 4/PC (Steam) title scheduled for release in summer 2019.

In a world where life flourishes through reincarnation.
People celebrated the life they had been given and prayed for the next life.

Sadness for death binds the living and makes the dead hesitate.
In other words, grieving over death is nothing but a taboo against reincarnation.

Therefore, people send the dead off by turning their sadness into smiles.

But even the hearts of those who tried to forget their tears needed salvation.

People called them ikutomori (ikutomori), the guardians of the departed.

The main character, Kagachi
Kagachi is a young mortal guardian who embodies the truth of reincarnation. He believes that his mission is to connect human lives to the next life. His encounter with a mysterious girl leads him to a fate of blood.
