A big hit thank-you stage greeting was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on February 16 (Sat), with Akira Kamiya, Kazue Ikura, Shunsui Ichiryuusai, Kanetsugu Kodama (general director), producer Michihiko Suwa (YTV), producer Masuro Ueda (Skyfall), and producer Naohiro Ogata (Sunrise) on stage.

Kamiya, Ikura, and Ichiryuusai appeared from the audience and were greeted with loud applause and cheers from the audience. You're the one who called me here," using a line from the film, and the audience was instantly excited.

Asked about the reaction to the film's release one week after its premiere, Director Kodama commented, "I've received a great response from people in the industry. Ikura, who currently teaches at a voice actor school, said with a smile, "My students have started to look up to me (laughs), which makes me very proud (laughs).
Kamiya said, "I'm on Twitter, and I was relieved to see a tweet yesterday that said, 'I went to see the show with a strict eye, but it was interesting and fun' (lol). Now it's becoming a third generation. I have to work a little harder (laughs).
Ueda joked, "I've been scouring the Internet and destroying people who write bad things about me (laughs). I am so happy to have received congratulatory speeches from so many people. Thank you very much.

Asked about behind-the-scenes stories from the production and postrecording sessions, General Director Kodama said, "This time, I wanted to depict the city of Shinjuku. In the previous series, you didn't depict Shinjuku in a way that you could recognize specific places. But this time, since it is a movie, I tried to show the places where Saeba Akane lives, where he is, and where he can go to visit," he commented. In response to this, Suwa started talking about Bus Terminal Shinjuku, and General Director Kodama revealed how the bus terminal appeared in the film, saying, "It wasn't in the script originally, but Suwa-san suddenly asked me to fight at the bus terminal (laugh). Kamiya commented on his acting.

Kamiya commented on his performance, "I was given a DVD containing only the voice of Saeba Akira, and I thought that the voice of Akira Saeba in the movie was different from the voice in the reruns, so I decided to reshoot the beginning of the movie to make it sound more like the original version so that everyone would not feel uncomfortable. I wanted to make the beginning of the movie more like the time, so that people would not feel uncomfortable.
Ichiryuusai shared a story about the recording session, "This time, young people were looking at us the whole time we were performing, and their eyes were stuck in my back (laugh).
Ogata also told his seniors, Suwa and Ueda, "Suwa-san and Ueda-san are retiring from the industry this time, so I made the film with that in mind (laugh)," to which Suwa and Ueda responded with a quip.

The audience cheered when the MC told them that Takashi Utsunomiya of TM NETWORK had sent a congratulatory message to celebrate the film's big success.
