─ How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of "Eisuke Tachibana" this time?

I was not auditioned, but was directly asked to play the role of Eisuke Tachibana, so I was very happy and felt that I had to live up to his expectations. I am also looking forward to playing the role of a married couple with Kikuko Inoue.

─ About your role

I play the role of Touma's father, who is also the father-in-law to both Runichiro and Otomi. Either way, he will be a father, and this relationship is also interesting. He is an alumnus of Meisei Gakuen High School baseball team, junior to Tatsuya Uesugi of "Touch" fame, and has always been a reserve pitcher; I wish I could have been the number one pitcher just once!

I like human dramas, so I get excited just because the story takes place in Meisei Gakuen, 30 years after "Touch". Kaji and the Uchida siblings are also interesting, and the voice actors are all very attractive, so I am looking forward to the recording. ──Do you have any thoughts on Mitsuru Adachi's works?

I think that the depth of Adachi's works can be felt when the atmosphere or pauses are utilized along with the dialogue, so it is difficult for me to fill in the pauses with ad-libs (laugh). I will enjoy the difficulty of how I can effectively express myself in the world of the anime "Mix".

The setting is "Meisei Academy", the same as "Touch". About 30 years have passed since the legend of "Uesugi Tatsuya", the main character of "Touch", and now, a fateful brother opens the door to the story....
Due to their parents' remarriage, they became twin brothers with the same birthday, although they are not related by blood. They are two brothers, "Runichiro Tachibana" and "Touma Tachibana," who belong to the baseball team of the Meisei Gakuen Junior High School.
Runichiro plays as a catcher and a batter. Nouma is a third baseman for "certain reasons," but he hides an uncommon talent for pitching. She is the biological sister of Runichiro and is not related to Nouma by blood. Tachibana Otomi, Runichiro's biological sister who is not related to Towa, also enters junior high school, and there is a lot of commotion around the two of them.
