Red Dead Online" receives information on the February 26 update, including a new wandering mode event, "Fool's Gold!

Rockstar Games has released new information about the next update scheduled for next Tuesday, February 26, for the "Red Dead Online" online mode (currently in beta testing) of the currently available "Red Dead Redemption 2" for PS4/Xbox One.

Red Dead Redemption 2" is the sequel title to "Red Dead Redemption," an open-world action adventure set in frontier America. Players take on the role of Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch gang, and must survive in a world of outlaws.

The game takes place in the United States in 1899, as the pioneer era is coming to an end. Arthur Morgan and the Dutch Gang are forced to flee after a major robbery gone wrong in the western town of Blackwater. Pursued by federal agents and bounty hunters from all over the country, the gang's only way to survive is to rob, violate, and steal in the wilds of America, but the gang is in danger of being torn apart the more they get involved in the feud. Arthur is forced to choose between his ideals and his loyalty to the gang that raised him.

New information regarding the next update (scheduled for Tuesday, February 26) of "Red Dead Online," the online mode of the game, which is currently undergoing beta testing, has arrived! A new wandering mode event "Fool's Gold," three new battle modes, new weapons and clothing, and emotional expressions will be added, as well as corrections and balance adjustments. In addition, new content and special campaigns will appear weekly from February 26 (Tuesday) onward, so stay tuned!

■New gameplay
A new wandering mode event, "Fool's Gold," is now available. Players battle each other for possession of a flashy protective suit of armor, the Golden Armor. Players earn points by defeating opponents who wear the armor, and once the armor is taken, players earn points by defeating opponents while wearing the armor.

Fishing challenges are competitive challenges to catch fresh fish. There are several types of fishing challenges. When you take on a challenge, you get a rod, lure, or other equipment needed to compete, depending on the challenge. Bait is provided based on the body of water in which you are participating, such as crickets for the river challenge, crawfish for the swamp challenge, and worms for the lake challenge. Once you have your gear, head to the water. During the challenge, you will not have to worry about being interrupted by belligerent outlaws. Ultimately, the player with the heaviest total weight of fish caught wins.

Three new combat modes are also available. There are three new combat modes: bag-and-deliver, loot-and-steal, and survive. Stay tuned for more details on "Gifts from Hell," "Loot Wars," and "Loot Rush." Also new is the Target Race. Players shoot targets from horseback and aim for the finish line while passing checkpoints.
