2019 Spring Anime "Kawayagi Shoujo" 2nd PV released! OP theme is by Enko Inoue

The airing date and time of "Kawayagi Shoujo", which will begin in April 2019 on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS "Anime-ism" slot, have been determined.

Kawayanagi Shoujo" is based on a manga by Masakuni Igarashi, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). Nanako Yukihira (CV: Kana Hanazawa) is a girl who is so bad at speaking that she writes 575 lines of willow to communicate with others, and Eiji Busujima (CV: Yu Hatanaka) is a former delinquent who, despite his yankee looks, is gentle at heart. This romantic comedy depicts the daily lives of these two in 17 tones. The director and series composition is by Masato Jimbo of "CHAOS;CHILD" and "Isekai Shokudo," and the character design is by Maki Hashimoto. Animation production will be handled by CONNECT of "Death March Kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku".

Broadcasting will begin on April 5 (Fri.) on MBS and TBS from 1:55 am every Friday and on BS-TBS from 1:00 am every Saturday from April 6.

Along with the announcement of broadcast information, the second PV featuring Nanako, Eiji, Amane, and other characters has been released, and a sample of the opening theme song "Kotonoha no Omoi" by Enko Inoue can be heard in the PV. A comment from Enko Inoue has also been received.

In addition, an advance screening of episodes 1 & 2 will be held at United Cinema Toyosu on March 23 (Sat), with Kana Hanazawa, who plays Nanako, and Yu Hatanaka, who plays Eiji, on stage. Tickets are now available at Lawson Ticket for pre-request.
