Kemono Friends" x Kyoto Aquarium! Collaboration postcard distribution of Cape penguin "Maru" x "PPP (Pepapu)" is decided!

Maru, a Cape penguin, and PPP (Pepapu) will collaborate in the spring event "FUN FAN PENGUINS ~MIYA-CCO Fan Building Mission~" at the Kyoto Aquarium.

KEMONO'S FRIENDS" is a popular content series with a variety of projects in progress, including games, comics, stage performances, and zoo collaborations. The story is set in "Japari Park," a gigantic comprehensive zoo, where the Friends go on a great adventure after being transformed from animal to human form under the influence of a mysterious substance called "Sandstar. The character concept design is by Mine Yoshizaki, known for "Sergeant Keroro," etc. The first season was broadcast on TV from January to March 2017; production of the TV anime "Kemono Friends 2" was announced at "Kemono Friends Live" held on Sunday, September 2, 2018, and will be broadcast from January 2019. It will start airing in January 2019.

It was announced that "Kemono Friends," which has collaborated with various zoos, will now collaborate with the Kyoto Aquarium.

Kyoto Aquarium will hold the spring event "FUN FAN PENGUINS ~MIYA-CCO Fan Making Operation~" from March 1 (Fri.) to April 7 (Sun.), 2019, where visitors can learn about the attraction of penguins through talk events and hands-on programs. During this period, from March 9 (Sat.) to March 24 (Sun.), the first center "Maru (*1)" of the idol penguin unit "MIYA-CCO" formed by penguins of Kyoto Aquarium and the idol penguin unit "PPPP" born from "Kemono Friends (*2), an idol penguin unit born from "Kemono Friends", will distribute postcards with a limited design to visitors to the museum.

In addition, on March 9 (Sat), an event will be held with the unit "Chiku Tamu" formed by voice actress Yukiko Tsukita, who plays a Humboldt penguin, and Kyoka Tamura, who plays a gentoo penguin in "PPP," the penguin idol unit in Japaripark that appears in "Kemono Friends.
