Twin heroes protecting Kumamoto, the land of fire! Grand Power Hinokuni, go out! The 12th edition of "Local Hero Super Compendium

The heroes appearing in this 12th edition are the first twin local heroes. Grand Power Hinokuni," who protects Kumamoto Prefecture, makes his appearance!

In the past, "Space Iron Man Kyodyne" and "Brother Fist Bikrosser" were twin heroes, and in recent years, "Ultraman R/B (Rube)" has been a twin hero, a genre of special effects heroes that compensate for each other's shortcomings and work together to defeat evil.
This issue features "Gran Power Hinokuni," the original local twin hero.
Grand Power Hinokuni appeared in 2005 as a hero to protect Kumamoto Prefecture.
They were influenced by "Power City Oita," who was fighting evil in neighboring Oita Prefecture.
After hearing about Power City Oita's activities, Kumamoto's firefighters knocked on Power City Oita's door so that they, too, could protect and entertain the local children.
Later, with the support of Power City Oita, "Grand Power Hinokuni" made its debut, taking on the name "Power" as Power City Oita's brother hero.

Hero Show for Morality

Here is the story of "Grand Power Hinokuni."
A group of monsters, the Gjappe Gundan, begins its march on Kumamoto. The Gudjappe Gundan is composed of monsters created by human ego. They are monstrous beings transformed into monsters from various species of animals, insects, monsters, and other great men of various races. They began attacking humans in order to protect the global environment from human society's repeated destruction of the environment. However, the power of the local earth to protect humans and the love for the local community held by the young men of the fire brigade resonated with each other, and "Blaze Red," a flame warrior imbued with the power of Mount Aso, was born. Sent to protect people and stop the negative cycle, Blaze Red defeats the Gjappe monster.

When the Gjappe monsters formed a clique to fight back against Blaze Red's appearance, the power of the local water resonated with the young lifesaver, and the water warrior "Blue Saber," imbued with the power of the earth's water, was born. Blue Saber, a water warrior imbued with the power of the earth's water, is born and fights alongside Blaze Red.
The story of "Grand Power Hinokuni," in which "there is always a friend to help," is extremely complex, and is by no means a simple story of good versus evil. The monsters are also heroes who, depending on how you look at it, are doing justice to the natural world by "protecting the environment of the earth. The shows are characterized by the fact that they are often difficult to describe in a few words, but they make children think about many different things.

Birth of Rescue Twin Heroes

Grand Power Hinokuni appeared in front of children at the local Yagogawa "Village Harvest Festival" in 2005, when members of the local fire department started an event team. Costume design, modeling, music, scenarios, and kill scenes were created by members of the fire brigade, and with technical support from Power City Oita, with whom they had been friends for some time, and positioned as brother characters, they made their debut as local heroes in Kumamoto Prefecture.
After his debut, he was instantly sought out for festivals in the prefecture, performing as many as 40 times a year.
His unique activities are slightly different from those of other heroes, such as appearing at the first firefighting ceremony as he is transformed into a firefighter, and giving a message show to young firefighters about the prohibition of playing with fire. He also formed a hero team called "Kyushu Hero Net" with heroes from neighboring prefectures and developed crossover events (Kyushu Hero Net was disbanded in 2016).
Hero shows with a strong universal and moral message also became a hot topic, and we performed hero shows at a local amusement park for five years. Also in 2013, a collaboration show was realized with "Sea Jetter Kaito," a local hero from Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture and an original hero of Ishimori Productions. They showed a passionate stage performance based on the bond between the north and the south.

Recently, the show has been constantly changing, with Kumamoto-based manga artist Kenichi Muraeda, known for his "Masked Rider SPIRITS" and other works, as an advisor, and the original hero "Jiendo" created by Muraeda has joined the show as a super sub for "Grand Power Hinokuni".
This year marks the 14th year since its debut, and Grand Power Hinokuni continues to be highly popular with many children. This year and next year, it will surely continue to be active as a twin hero preaching morality to children as always.
