Third season of TV anime "Chihayafuru" postponed to October 2019.

The broadcast of the TV anime "Chihayafuru 3," which was scheduled to begin in April, has been postponed to October 2019.

Chihayafuru" is a very popular comic that has sold a total of 22 million copies of 39 comic books, and a live-action movie "Chihayafuru: Knot" starring Suzu Hirose was released in March of this year. It won the 2nd Manga Grand Prize (2009), the 1st place in the "Onna" section of "This Manga is Amazing! Based on a coming-of-age manga about competitive karuta, it has been adapted into two seasons of TV animation. With its beautiful visuals and passionate coming-of-age story, it is popular not only among women but also among men. The director is Morio Asaka, and the animation was produced by Madhouse.

The reason for the postponement is stated as "various circumstances," and a comment from the production committee on the official anime website reads, "We would like to extend our deepest apologies to everyone who has been waiting for the broadcast, and we would appreciate your continued support as we strive to deliver an even better work.
