Uta Monogatari 2 - Theme Song Collection of <Monogatari> Series" will be released on Friday, May 10, 2019, featuring the complete full-size OP/ED including the final season of the "Monogatari" anime series.

The anime "Monogatari" series, created by Ishin Nishio, started in 2009 with the TV anime "Bakemonogatari" and will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2019.
A mysterious countdown had recently started on the anime's official website, and today, February 6 (Wed.) at 17:00, the countdown has ended, and the details of the"Monogatari Fest -10th Anniversary Story-", a "one-night-only" festival featuring character songs and readings, wasfinallyannounced. The event will be held on May 11 (Sat), 2019 at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba Prefecture.

The "Uta Monogatari 2: Theme Songs of 'Monogatari' Series" will be released on May 10, 2019 (Friday).

The first volume of "Uta Monogatari -〈物語〉Series Theme Song Collection" was released by Aniplex on January 6, 2016, covering all theme songs of "Bakemonogatari", "Nisemonogatari", "Nekomonogatari (Black)" and "Monogatari" series second season, and ranked No.1 on the weekly Oricon chart at the time. It also sold over 100,000 copies and was certified as a gold disc by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, making it an unprecedentedly big hit for an anime CD.

The new CD, "Uta Monogatari 2: Theme Songs of 'Monogatari' Series," will include full-size OP/ED songs from the final season of "Monogatari" series and other series, making it a must-listen for fans.

On May 11, the day after the release of the CD, "Monogatari Fest -10th Anniversary Story-" will be held, where the songs included in the CD will be performed.
