The TV anime "Raging Season Maidens!" will air in July 2019! Along with this, the first key visual, character visuals, and cast information have been released.

The "Raging Season, O Maidens! is based on the manga of the same title serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha). Mari Okada, an active anime scriptwriter, wrote the original story, and Nao Emoto of "Soredemo Boku wa Kimi ga Suki" (I Still Love You) created the manga. It is an ensemble coming-of-age drama about high school girls who belong to a literary club, and depicts the growth of these girls as they are swept away by their "sexuality.

The broadcast of this work has been scheduled to begin in July 2019! Along with this, the first key visual and character visuals have been released.

In addition, the cast information revealed that Hiyori Kono will play the role of Kazusa Onodera, Chika Asai will play Shinna Sugawara, Momo Asakura will play Momoko Sudo, Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Hitoha Hongo, Sumire Uesaka will play Rika Sonezaki, and Jinba Tsuchiya will play Izumi Norimoto.

Information about the event at Anime Japan 2019 was also released: on March 23 (Sat) at 15:00, a stage event "Talk Show of Raging Seasons" will be held in the "DMM pictures Booth" booth. Hiyori Kono (Kazusa), Chika Anzai (Shinna), and Kanba Tsuchiya (Izumi) will take the stage and talk about the charms of this work.

Ms. Sonezaki is a character that has a lot of overlap with me, so I am very much looking forward to playing her!

Tsuchiya Kanba as Izumi Norimoto

First of all, I was captivated by the beautiful, yet dangerous, spring awakening of the members of the literature club.

It was a shocking challenge for me to play a female character in a work that deals with adolescence head-on, but I felt a strong sympathy that transcends gender for the confusion that only adolescents experience when their rational understanding cannot keep up with the changes in their hearts.

Izumi, whom I play, is a kind childhood friend who is a train enthusiast.

I want to live the fullest in the brightness and sweet-sourness that only a high school student can feel, despite the pitiful and miserable experiences.
