Miyako Horie, the Queen of Anime Songs, starts her 50th anniversary year! The first album "Heisei no Mitsuko Horie" will be released!

Miyako Horie, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Anime Songs, who will celebrate the 50th anniversary of her debut this year, will release her first album on April 24 to mark the start of her anniversary year.

Since her debut in August 1969 with the theme song for the anime "Beni Sanshiro," Mitsuko Horie has sung many hit anime theme songs, including "Candy Candy," "Hana no Ko Lun Lun," "Himitsu no Akko-chan," and "Voltes V." She is known as the "Queen of Anime Songs.

The title of this first album, to be released just in time for the end of the Heisei era, is "Heisei no Mitsuko Horie".

(theme song for "Miracle Robot Force"), etc. The album is a mix of old and new songs, mainly anime theme songs sung by Mr. Horie in the Heisei era, as well as insert songs and image songs. It is a different collection of songs from previous compilations.

The group is also planning to vigorously pursue activities such as 50th anniversary live performances and CD releases from this year through next year. More details will be announced as they become available.
