Guest voice actors and the latest trailer for "Mewtwo Strikes Back: EVOLUTION," which will hit the road on July 12 (Friday), have been released.

Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION," the 22nd film in the popular "Pokémon" animation series, is a full 3DCG remake of the hit first film in the series, "Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back.

This time, I played the role of Mewtwo by calling up the "Mewtwo spirit" inside of me. We want to deliver the power of the legendary Pokemon "Mewtwo" to everyone, whether you have seen the first movie or not! Come to the cinema! The trailer also features a full 3D DC movie.

In the trailer, the visuals of Satoshi, Pikachu, and many Pokémon in full 3DCG version are unveiled for the first time. It depicts a new look that is different from the previous Pokémon movies. The images are so powerful that those who were excited at the time and those who have yet to see "Mewtwo Strikes Back" can hardly wait for the film's release.

It has also been announced that voice actor Unsho Ishizuka, who died of esophageal cancer last August 13, will appear in the film. Mr. Ishizuka had played the role of Dr. Orchid and Naretion in previous films, and he will play the role of Naretion in this film.
