CD album "DEEMO Piano Collection," a piano arrangement of the musical world of the hit sound game "DEEMO," will be released on March 27!

Yamaha Music Communications announced that it will release "DEEMO Piano Collection," a piano arrangement CD album for the popular music game app "DEEMO," on Wednesday, March 27.

DEEMO" is a music game app developed by Taiwanese game production company Rayark, released in November 2013 as a music game for smartphones, followed by the PlayStation Vita version in 2015 and the Nintendo Switch version in 2017. It is still a popular title that has recorded long sales within the top 10 of the App Store paid game ranking (as of February 27, 2019).

This time, "DEEMO Piano Collection," a piano arrangement album CD of "DEEMO," will be released on March 27 (Wednesday)! The fantastic musical world that characterizes "DEEMO" has been beautifully and simply arranged on piano for your enjoyment!　Included in the collection are "YUBIKIRI-GENMAN," "Entrance," and "Magnolia" from the early distribution tracks, and "ANiMA," "Fluquor," and "Marigold" from the tracks added and distributed with the update. In addition, a total of 18 songs including "Deemo Goodbye" and "Alice Good Night" used in the game's story movie. The CD jacket also features a vertical design reminiscent of the game's storyline, allowing the audience to enjoy the world of "DEEMO" not only with their ears, but also with their eyes.

The piano and arrangements of the "DEEMO" songs will be provided by Tomoko Asaka, who has produced and arranged songs for various artists and provided music for video works, and Jacob Koller, a world-renowned piano u-tuber whose superbly skilled performance appeals to audiences around the world. Jacob Koller, who is also an international piano YouTube star with his superb technique and performance. The popular works of artists and writers from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Hong Kong have been reimagined with a glittering, fast-moving piano performance. What is DEEMO?
DEEMO" is a fusion of a "music game" and a "modern fairy tale. One day, Deemo, who plays the piano alone in a mysterious castle, suddenly meets a girl who lost her memory and fell from the sky. Deemo, who wanted to return the girl to her original world, noticed that by playing the piano, the buds on the piano grew rapidly. If he could make this bud grow into a tree, it might one day reach the window in the ceiling and bring the girl back to her own world, but how would that end?

Tomoko Asaka
Born on May 27. She was fascinated by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tetsuya Komuro, and wanted to compose and arrange music!　She began studying composition in earnest in the spring of her 15th year, and enrolled in the Kyoto City University of Arts, majoring in composition. He entered the Kyoto City University of Arts, majoring in composition, and completed the graduate school of the same university, majoring in composition and conducting. After a year of solo activities, he joined a girls' band "mogahoop" and became a keyboard player. In August 2018, he released the album "SEASIDE RAINBOW". He is not only a player, but also produces and arranges music for various artists, and is expanding his activities as a composer and arranger, as well as providing music for video works.

Jacob Koller
Jacob Koller was born in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. Since coming to Japan in 2009, he has been active as a jazz pianist. He has released 9 major albums from Nippon Columbia and 1 from Universal Music, and in March 2015, he won the "Piano King Championship" on TV Asahi's "Kanjani no Nishikata Eternal" (he has won twice). Since 2017, he has been releasing his latest recordings, which are the embodiment of the world of performance that he freely seeks, on his own initiative. His You Tube videos of his superb technique are also very popular, with 21 million views and more than 110,000 registered users, making him a world-renowned piano You Tuber.
