Moe Toyoda's official interview for her birthday event on March 10 has arrived! I want to sing character songs and idol songs that you don't usually get to hear.

She has appeared in many anime productions, including "Hibike! Euphonium" as Midoriteru Kawashima, "BanG Dream!" as Kanon Matsubara, etc., and is also active as a member of the unit "Pyxis" with Miki Ito, voice actress Moe Toyoda will hold a birthday event "Moe Toyoda Birthday Party2019 ～Yearling Woman! Inoshin Moei ！！！！ ～will be held on March 10, 2019 (Sunday).

This year will be the sixth "Moe Toyoda Birthday Party" since it was first held in 2014. Each time, the event is filled with many events, costumes, and song performances that can only be seen here.
We have an official interview with Ms. Toyoda, who is preparing for the Birthday Party, asking about her enthusiasm for the event. Let us introduce you to it right away.

--What have you been doing since "Moe Toyoda BirthdayParty ~Since I'm here, I'm going to hold a birthday party~" in 2014 until last year?

In 2014, I held an event between two events, so it was really a "just for the heck of it" event. It was my first solo event, so I remember I was a bit confused (laugh). 20 years later, I wanted to make it like a fan club event, so we had a lunch time event with everyone and a birthday party in the evening. We did a toast event where we spent the moment together to celebrate. After that, it was like we had more songs to sing as we were able to do more.

-- 12 songs in 2017 and 15 songs in 2018, which is as much as a regular live show.

There were some one-chorus songs, but there are not many opportunities to perform character songs or StylipS songs, so I think it is because of events like this that we can sing them.

--I think it's true that character songs don't often get a chance to be performed.

That's right. I think it would be a waste to just end up recording them. I try to sing as much as I can at my own events. When I put together a set list, I always base it around my desire to sing songs that you don't usually get to hear, and I intend to do so this year as well.

--Of course, you also sing your favorite idol songs?

I will sing 100% of idol songs this year as well. I am doing this event partly because I want to sing my favorite idol songs (laughs). Last year and the year before, I sang a medley of my favorite Seiko, and I also sang songs from Nogizaka, Keyakizaka, and other hill groups. The songs we sing will change, but we will definitely sing those songs, and we are also planning to sing idol songs that we have not sung before.

--I will also try to sing idol songs that I have not sung before.

I basically copy all the idol songs that have dancing. Since I am a solo dancer, the choreography for large groups is a simplified version, though.

--What was the most memorable moment for you other than singing?

There is a corner where I get something I want with the help of the fans, and that is fun every year (laughs). I like the feeling of winning something together with the fans! I don't know what the format will be this year, but I think we will probably do it again.

-The costumes are also very elaborate every year. What kind of costumes are you planning to wear this year?

I am thinking of making it a little more mature than in previous years. I have always dressed quite lovely in the past, so this year, I hope to not only look lovely, but also beautiful as a woman and give off an adult atmosphere at the age of 24. However, I will be lovely when I am required to be (laughs).

--The videos that are shown during the costume change are also fun, such as going to Mother Farm and trying horse racing for the first time. Will there be more of that kind of footage this year?

We have made the video even more elaborate than in previous years. The daytime and evening sessions have different content, and one of them is about the year of the woman of the year (as the event title says), so I went to see animals related to that. I love animals, so when it comes to things I want to do, the first thing that comes to mind is going to see animals (laughs). The other thing I wanted to do was to experience a profession that I have always wanted to do. I also had the help of Gamers. Please look forward to it.

--I think the difference from previous years is that this year, Yuma Aoki will appear.

We have asked Mr. Aoki to be our MC. I have interacted with Mr. Aoki quite a bit as a guest on the radio, and he is a very good talker and MC. He also plays the guitar, so I hope we can plan something different from previous years.

--Are there any other new projects you are planning?

This year we have added a variety of goods to our lineup, and for the first time we have made penlights. We are also planning to sell pamphlets, which we have never had before. I think it will be more like a fashion magazine. We told the photographer what we wanted and asked him to work with us to create the pamphlet. I also took close-ups of her face, so I hope to include personal pages such as makeup tips and her favorite fashions.

--Please tell us again about the theme of the "Moe Toyoda Birthday Party.

The theme is "Thinking Customer First. This has not changed consistently, and I feel that I am interacting with fans on a one-on-one basis. I love meeting everyone, and I want to make this an event that will leave a special memory for each and every one of you.

--By the way, do you have any plans to make a video of this event?

No, I don't. I am of the school of thought that I want to offer something wonderful to those who come to the event. I want to make it something special that can only be seen by those who come to the event, so I don't think I will make a video of it. I also have the advantage of being able to do whatever I want because it won't be on film (laughs).

--Lastly, could you give us a message?

I do birthday events with the sole intention of "entertaining the fans," so I don't think you will regret coming. The hurdles are not high, and the seating is chair seating so you can sit back and relax. It is an event with an at-home atmosphere where I can do what I love and make everyone happy, so I hope you will feel free to come and visit me and watch me turn 24 years old.
