The 5 strongest members who support and lead the Real Girls Band Party! BanG Dream! 7th☆LIVE DAY2:RAISE A SUILEN "Genesis" Live Report

The "Bandolier!" 7th☆LIVE" was held at Nippon Budokan from February 21 to 23, 2019. Here is a report on "DAY2: RAISE A SUILEN "Genesis"" held on February 22.

DAY2: RAISE A SUILEN" featured Raychell (Ba. & Vo.), Riko Obara (Gt.), Natsume (Dr.), Reiho Kurachi (Key.), and Risa Boki (DJ) from RAISE A SUILEN, and guests Sachika Misawa, who plays Moka Aoba of Afterglow, and Aya Maruyama of Pastel* Palettes: Ami Maejima playing the role of Aya Maruyama, Hello, Happy World! Ito Miki playing Kokoro Tsurumaki, Suzuko Mimori playing Yuri Ushigome from Glitter*Green will appear on stage. Also, 30 minutes before the show began, "Bandolier! project, the boy band Argonavis, appeared on stage and performed live.

Argonavis

Argonavis is the musical force behind the "Bandolier! The "third real band" that supports the music world of "Bandoli-!

The origins of the band RAISE A SUILEN (RAS) require a bit of explanation. In "Bandolier! the voice actors who portray the characters of Poppin'Party and Roselia are also active as a real girls' band. But there is more to "Bandolier! is also home to Afterglow, Pastel*Palette, Hello, Happy World, and Glitter*Green! and Glitter*Green.

At "Galpa Live" (January 13 and 14, 2018, Tokyo Big Sight), a backing band was formed to support the band vocalists who are not active as a real band in terms of performance, and "Bandolit! The initial members of THE THIRD (tentative) were Raychell, an experienced bass vocalist and artist, Natsume, a drummer, Reiho Kurachi, a keyboardist, and Reiho Kurachi, a support guitarist. Sae Otsuka of Poppin'Party joined the group as a support guitarist. Later, THE THIRD (temporary) also became an independent band, with guitarist Riko Obara and DJ Risa Boki joining the group. At "THE THIRD(kari) 2nd Live" (July 17, 2018, Mynavi BLITZ Akasaka), where the official members were finally assembled, it was announced that the band would henceforth call itself "RAISE A SUILEN".

The turning point for RAISE A SUILEN (RAS) was the anime "BanG Dream! 2nd Season," which began airing in January. This is the first time for Raychell and Natsume to try their hand at voice acting. Roselia is a girl band in which the voice actors tried their hand at being a girl band, but RAS is a girl band in which the band members took the opposite route of trying their hand at voice acting.

DAY 2 of "BanG Dream! 7th☆LIVE" will feature four guests from four different bands, and while RAS is a band that has experienced the Ryogoku Kokugikan Live, they are also a band that has experienced the Bandri! The band's unique position as a back-up band for the sound world of "Bandri!

The configuration of the stage, which was set up in the center of the Nippon Budokan with 360° open seating and a full circumference stage with various gimmicks, was the same as that of Roselia's live the previous day. However, the futuristic sound and light performance with laser beams dancing wildly was completely different from the first day. When the five members of RAS appeared on stage, Raychell said, "Budokan, go wild as much as you want today! and the live started with "A DECLARATION OF xxxx".

The first thing that caught my attention about RAS's performance was the one-of-a-kind performance by keyboardist Mr. Kurachi. From the very beginning of the show, Kurachi, who was holding a shoulder keyboard, showed off his keyboard playing by getting down on one knee on the stage and bending down, and when he returned to the stationary keyboard, he showed off his backside pull. DJ Bohki also showed off his wild performance by putting one foot on the DJ table from a stepladder, and also showed off his skillful scratching skills. It is safe to say that these two are RAS's cut-throat leaders.

During the second song, "EXPOSE 'Burn out! Kurachi-san jumped around on one leg while performing the second song, "EXPOSE 'Burn out! Looking down from the stands at the Nippon Budokan, one could clearly see that only the hand he was playing with while on a rampage was moving as if it was sucking on the keyboard. At the same time, the fact that Mr. Kurachi and Ms. Boki were able to rampage freely was only possible with the support of the overwhelming stability of the rhythm section, including Natsume's drums and Rachel's bass.

Mr. Boki introduced the members in a smooth tone, like a disc jockey on FM radio. Mr. Kurachi said, "Today is our first live performance with our characters on our backs, so let's get excited! Boki then revealed the nonstop live performance structure: "There will be no encore today! and revealed the nonstop live performance structure.

In the guest corner, the band's logo appeared on the screen with effects to let the audience know who the next guest would be. The first guest vocalist was Ami Maejima playing the role of Aya Maruyama from Pastel*Palettes. Ms. Maejima appeared in the costume of Aya Maruyama and started to sing "Shuwarin☆Dorimin", turning the stage into the color of Pastel*Palettes with her gorgeous dance moves and sparkling smile. Ms. Maejima said, "Wow, it's the Budokan, it's amazing! Pastel*Palettes is here at the Budokan! and appealed energetically. She sang "Mou Ichido Luminous" gently and filled with her feelings. She sang with her heart filled with sadness and care, and then smiled softly in the chorus. I feel like crying, but thank you for warmly enjoying the song with me," she said. During the last song "Tenga Toitsu A to Z☆," the audience shouted "Bi-shi-ba-shi! Eto-tsu-ze! from the audience, the performance was comical and fun. The performance was cute, emotional, and fun. Even after Maejima left the stage, leaving a strong impression on the audience, the audience continued to thrill to their feet for a while.

Ami Maejima

Ms. Maejima was the star of the stage. Personally, however, this was also the stage where I felt the professionalism of RAS. The five members who had just been giving such a rampant and muscular performance were now completely out of the picture, and the way they switched from one to the other was wonderful.

Hello, happy world! Miki Ito, who played Kokoro Tsurumaki, said, "Make the world smile! Happy! Lucky! Smile! Yay! and performed "Egao no orchestra! and performed "Egao no orchestra! Ms. Ito embodied in flesh and blood the character of Kokoro Tsurumaki, a very anime-like character in some ways, and her "Festival! The cute and spontaneous sound of Kokoro Tsurumaki was steady from head to tail. The MC began with a simple greeting, but the audience cheered when she asked, "Are you guys having fun? to which the audience responded with loud cheers and "You have a nice smile, thank you! By the time he replied, "You have a nice smile, thank you! This is not the result of the voice actor's talent, but rather the special personality of Ito Mirai herself. It was also impressive to see Raychell and the other singers exchange greetings and glancing poses in time with the lyrics of "Gosattei" and "Niirako.

Mirai Ito

In the song "Kimi ga nai ka! The vocal parts of the Halo Happi members were performed in orchestra. In Kaoru Seta's (CV: Azusa Tadokoro) part, Ms. Ito happily conducted her part. Basically, she is bright, energetic, and sparkling, but in the part where she sings a little quietly, I instantly felt the pull of her voice that drew me in. The last song of the halo-happi was a new song, "High Five ∞ Adoben Chatcha. The performance expressed the joy of going on an adventure with all their might, and their cute, bashful smiles in "Treasure, Treasure, Treasure" almost pulled my soul out of my body. Her peering into the camera and every move she made was cute. Ms. Ito closed the show with a cheerful monkey dance and a side peace, and then exited the stage with a smile, saying, "Now I'll be back with (DJ) Michelle! she said with a smile as she exited the stage.

Sachika Misawa's character, Mocha Aoba, is the guitarist of Afterglow, and this was the first time a non-vocalist from a band that has not yet formed a real band appeared at a big live performance. When Ms. Misawa appeared on stage with her guitar in hand, there was a surprised shout from the audience. Misawa-san asked, "How are you guys doing? Are you excited? I'm going to play the guitar and sing today, too! Are you ready to get excited? I'm going to play something emo! That Is How I Roll!" was pronounced completely in hiragana.

Sachika Misawa

Ms. Raychell sang the main vocal part of Ran Mitake (CV: Ayane Sakura) in "That Is How I Roll! Ms. Misawa played the guitar and happily hummed along with the rest of the song, except for her own singing. Ms. Ohara and Ms. Misawa, now twin guitars, performed together in a session playing facing each other.

Ms. Misawa expressed her gratitude for standing with Mocha at the Nippon Budokan, Afterglow's longed-for venue, and then they moved on to "Tsunagu, soramoyo" (Tsunagu, solamoyo). In this song, Ms. Misawa also joined in with twin vocals, but the combination with Ms. Raychell had a different sound and atmosphere from the original song. Misawa, who used to own a guitar but kept it as a decoration in his room, said that he had worked hard to enjoy the music with the bandleaders, even though the intense practice almost broke his heart.

The last song of the Afterglow corner was a new song "Y.O.L.O!!!!! ! Ms. Misawa added a light and cute chorus, which was unique to Mocha, and then she and Ms. Raychell once again joined forces for double vocals in the chorus. The coexistence of Ms. Raychell's vocals with strong sound pressure and the resonance of Ms. Misawa's character-driven voice in the chorus was fascinating.

The last of the guest corner was Suzuko Mimori, who plays the role of Yuri Ushigome of Glitter*Green. Ms. Mimori appeared in a casual outfit and said "Budokan, are you ready to play? Are you ready to play? and then she started to sing "Don't be afraid! Rather than building up a character, Ms. Mimori's strength as an artist and her ability to express herself formed the foundation of Ushigome Yuri's expression.

Suzuko Mimori

RAS-san, your physical strength is amazing! Everyone is amazing! Mimori, who enjoyed the space, sent a shout out to Rimi Nishimoto, who played the role of Rimi Ushigome, saying, "I think my sister will be in the show tomorrow as Poppipa, so please support her as well as me. When the audience voiced their disappointment that the next song, "Glee! Mimori shouted with a smile. Mimori-san was the only one who stood on stage, but it was emotional to see people waving psylliums in the colors of the Glee Glee members at various points.

The aura of absolute strength

From here on, it was RAISE A SUILEN's turn again as a band. As if to declare this, Natsume started the drum performance. It is common for band members to perform during stage changes and costume changes, but if Natsume, who had been playing drums throughout the first half of the show, was going to play drums again here, when would she take a break? However, Natsume's drumming became more and more intense, as if to blow away such amateurish thoughts. Cameras from various angles were in full operation, capturing her uncanny performance and projecting it on the eight screens. Natsume seemed to be in a great mood as she had all the heat and attention of the Budokan to herself.

Then Ms. Obara, Mr. Kurachi, and Ms. Boki appeared on stage. They showed off their challenging performance by kicking their feet up in the air with gusto. The session of Mr. Kurachi's shoulder keyboard and Mr. Obara's guitar seemed to be a battle in super close proximity, a showcase unique to RAS. Mr. Boki also showed off his trance-like DJ play, and each of the four exploded with their own individuality.

The last performer on stage was, of course, Raychell. Surrounded by light, Raychell sang "Ahhhhhhhh," a beautiful and intense high note, then roared, chanted, and shouted in her a cappella voice. The way she presented her performance, using only her simple, well-honed singing voice as a weapon, without any decoration, was a truly outstanding performance.

Raychell, who had taken control of the venue with his primitive battle cry, said, "Budokan, we're going to go on a rampage in the second half of the show from here. Can you give it your all? and went on to "UNSTOPPABLE". An explosive aura rose from the audience as Raychell sang with head banging. As soon as he put his heart and soul into his vocals and bass as the main performer, his presence increased, and it was almost monstrous.

What is wonderful about RAS is that these sharp and strong personalities inspire each other as a team. When Raychell expressed his gratitude to the bandleaders for the opportunity to perform at the Budokan, the audience gave a thunderous applause and cheered. The expressions on the faces of the five members as they bit into the rain of cheers were impressive.

Takin' my Heart" was performed by RAS and "Bandolier! The song was a new song that expressed the band's determination to move forward with the sound of RAS and "Bandolier! Each of the five members put their emotions into their playing and singing, as if they were praying or in a trance. It was especially refreshing to see Natsume, who looked as if she was singing along with the group, pounding her heart out on the drums with a poignant expression on her face. The viewers were able to directly feel Natsume's emotions because their eyes were naturally drawn to the way she had been beating the drums with such intensity and devotion.

The following "EXPOSE 'Burn out!!!'" In the next song, "EXPOSE 'Burn out!!!," Boki asked the audience to prepare their smart phones. This was a groundbreaking corner where video recording was allowed. After the show, social networking sites such as Twitter were filled with live videos taken by the audience. The fact that the Nippon Budokan surrounds the stage from all directions made it interesting to see the differences in view from different seating positions, a device that reflects the confidence that the best way to convey the appeal of RAS is to show the performance and the atmosphere of the live show as it is.

After finishing the performance, Raychell made the audience put away their phones and said, "Raise your fists. It's the last show, so come on with all you've got!" and they launched into "A DECLARATION OF xxxx" again! The members ran around the stage for the last time, and Mr. Kurachi did a cartwheel while performing! Natsume-san gave a soulful drum performance for the last time. Looking back at the set list, there were not that many songs by RAS alone, but it did not feel that way, probably because the tremendous power and perfection of each song left a strong impression.

In the last speech, the audience could feel how much each of the five truly cherished RAISE A SUILEN, a place they had arrived at while dreaming and worrying about music, bands, and voice acting, and how happy they were to stand on the stage of the Budokan.

Mr. Boshiki declared in a high voice as a tutu, "With our strongest music, we will aim for the top of the world! Raychell said, "This is not the goal, but the start. Poppipa, Roselia, and RAS, I want to bring the Bandolier project to more and more people around the world! project to the world.

In the following announcement, it was announced that RAISE A SUILEN's solo live "Heaven and Earth" would be held at Kobe World Kinen Hall on July 13-14, 2019. Miki Ito is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the 14th.

RAISE A SUILEN started as a real band and a support band, and we can't wait to see what kind of expressions will be created by these highly skilled girls as they complete the "BanG Dream! 2nd Season" anime and become more tightly clad in their characters and stories.
