On March 2 (Sat), "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection," which is currently screening as a blockbuster hit, held a big hit thank-you speech at the United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba.

First of all, the MC announced that the film had surpassed the 500,000 mark in terms of theater attendance and that it had been in the top 10 in terms of weekend box-office revenue for three consecutive weekends despite being released in only 120 theaters. Director Goro Taniguchi expressed his honest feelings, "I am very happy," and Jun Fukuyama, who plays Lelouch, said, "I am standing in front of you all again to say thank you for the blockbuster hit. I have a real feeling that "Lelouch of the Resurrection" will be well received by everyone, but I didn't know if it would be accepted until it was actually released, so I am very grateful that 500,000 people have seen it this way," he said, expressing his happiness.

Takahiro Sakurai, who plays Suzaku, followed with the following words: "I was talking with Mr. Fukuyama, Mr. Murase, and Nobunaga Shimazaki at the stage greeting on the first day of the opening, and I felt we were off to a good start. I felt that we were off to a good start.

In response, Yukana, who plays C.C., said, "I am also very happy. Above all, I am very happy to be able to meet all of you in person today and to be able to stand here with this group of people. This is all because of your support. Thank you very much.

Ms. Koshimizu, who plays the role of Karen, expressed her joy by repeating the same words as Ms. Yukana: "There are customers who have loved the show since then, and there are customers who have recently fallen in love with the show, so I am happy to see you all here in person after all this time. Finally, Murase-san, who plays Shario, said, "I am happy to be involved in a work that I have loved since my school days and that I was crazy about back then. I wondered if I would be accepted as a new character, if I would be okay, but when I heard today that the number of viewers exceeded 500,000, I am glad to know that I, too, have been accepted into "Lelouch of the Resurrection"".

When asked about the next memorable scene, Murase replied, "The last scene of my sister Shamuna, where something black and grudge-like appears in the world of C. Shamuna, who only saw the future and was trying to go beyond the C world, was trying not to leave her heart, thinking of Shario, but in the end she had many regrets. Seeing that scene made me realize that it is difficult to escape from being human. That scene, including Mr. Toda's performance, left a great impression on me. It stayed in the back of my mind and creeped me out," she said about her sister Shamuna, with whom she has a close relationship.

Koshimizu said, "The last scene was the conversation with C.C. I felt it was the culmination of all the work we had done since the TV series. I wanted to be with him a little longer," he answered, "We were supposed to record the scene separately, but I asked him to let us record it together. Of course it is Karen who speaks in the movie, but there is a little bit of Ami Koshimizu in it..." Yukana replied, and the audience laughed. Yukana added, "As an actor and as a character, I feel like a lot of my feelings over the past 12 years are reflected in that scene, and I really like that part of it. I got the impression that Karen saw C.C. for the first time, not as an "extra to Lelouch," but as C.C. himself, and that she felt affection for him.

In response, Ms. Koshimizu shared her feelings about Yukana, saying, "It was like I finally realized feelings that I had never noticed or cared about before. Sakurai-san mentioned Sakuyoko and Tamaki as impressive scenes. He mentioned the scene where Tamaki cries over the phone and says, "I didn't know you had it in you! Fukuyama immediately responded, "It means that an idiot has three times the energy of a normal person. The audience laughed and applauded. He then said, "In 'Lelouch of the Resurrection,' there are many scenes that are based on the TV series. So at the end, when Lelouch chased after C.C. who was leaving on his own, I was huffing and puffing while C.C. was talking. I was told to stop doing that," he said, revealing that he was given an NG for his acting, which is unique to Lelouch, who is physically challenged. He added, "I remember talking with Yukana-san about the part where they were bickering, and how the relationship between C.C. and Lelouch was taken one step further. That scene was very emotional for me as well." He continued, "I remember talking with Yucana about the change in their relationship, which has been referred to as an accomplice relationship since the TV series.

The MC asked the audience how many times they had seen the film, and more than 90% of the audience had seen it more than twice. In response to this result, the director was asked about the points of appreciation after the second viewing. "There are scenes for which my mentor as a director, Mr. Ryosuke Takahashi, did the original drawings. One is the party scene at Tamaki's restaurant, and the text on the sake label that Mr. Todo is holding behind Tamaki, who is drunk and tangled in a fan. And then there is the scene where Tamaki is watching the people of Gilkstan fleeing after the battle, and Takahashi-san is in charge of the characters on the label of the sake bottle.

Mr. Fukuyama suggested, "Let's sell bottles with those labels on them! Mr. Fukuyama suggested, "Let's sell bottles with those labels! He also revealed that the money in the scene at the beginning of the movie, when C.C.'s truck breaks down and he asks for repairs, was designed as an old Britannian coin, and that the detailed setting depicts the portrait of Odysseus, the first prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. He said that there are many elements that can be enjoyed even the second time around.

Director Taniguchi concluded his message to the fans by saying, "The fact that new fans have joined us from the trilogy or from "Lelouch of the Resurrection" and have supported us like this makes me feel that all the hard work of the staff and cast has been worth it. I would like to ask for your continued support." He reiterated that he was able to deliver "Lelouch of the Resurrection" as a way of repaying the fans who have supported the film over the years.

Mr. Murase continued, "If I told the person I was 10 years ago that I am now involved in "Code Geass" as Shario, she would be surprised and say, 'Wow! I think you would be surprised. It is such a legendary work in my mind, and I was able to play a wonderful role in a work loved by so many people. As it turned out, he died, but I was happy about that too. I was more than happy that I was able to participate in such a work. I would be very happy if you could go see the film two or three times in the future. Thank you very much for your time today," he said, expressing his joy as a Geass fan and the enthusiasm of the staff and cast involved in "Lelouch of the Resurrection.

Mr. Koshimizu said, "When I first heard that we were going to do "Lelouch of the Resurrection," I thought that Karen's life would be in danger next time, even though the TV series and the compilation trilogy had ended happily for her. But I'm glad she survived," he said, revealing that he had been worried about Karen's safety after her continued success in "Lelouch of the Resurrection. However, "This time, she and Suzaku were fighting together, so even if Suzaku came to her rescue in a pinch, I was afraid that if Suzaku sensed that she was in real danger, he would activate his 'live' geas and suddenly step aside, causing Karen to be sacrificed! I thought you came to save me! I was imagining the unexpected situation that might have happened during the fight scene with Suzaku," he said, to which the audience laughed loudly. Sakurai responded, "I'm sorry, Karen..." and the audience laughed.

Yukana said, "Today is a thank-you episode, so I would like to thank you for walking with me for 12 long years. Then," she looked at Mr. Fukuyama, Mr. Sakurai, and Ms. Koshimizu and thanked them. She also thanked the cast and director for standing shoulder to shoulder on the same dais with her, saying to Mr. Murase, "Thank you for joining us," and to Director Taniguchi, "Thank you for finding me. Mr. Sakurai quickly interjected, "What's wrong with you all of a sudden, you're making me cry." He looked around the audience with a sincere expression and said, "This may be the last time we all line up on the dais together. I'm glad I was able to come today, and I'm really glad you all came. Please continue to support Code Geass from now on.

Mr. Sakurai continued, "I think there is a part of us that can't look at the work objectively anymore. I think everyone is more familiar with Code Geass and knows what makes it so interesting. If each and every one of you can spread your thoughts and ideas in your own words, I think we can reach 1,000,000 people next to the 500,000 mark. The audience looked at me expectantly. "This work is so interesting that I feel like saying this, and I think it is because of you all. I would be very happy if you would go to the theater to see it a second time, as Director Taniguchi just told us.

In closing, Mr. Fukuyama said, "In the course of my involvement in this work, I have repeatedly felt, expressed, and had everyone receive the scenery and feelings I have never seen or felt before. I feel as if I have spent a really long time with you all. As I greet the audience on the stage for the big hit of "Lelouch of the Resurrection," I am reminded of how many people have accepted the film, and how many people, whether they have seen it multiple times or for the first time today, have come together to share their feelings through this single work of art. I am keenly aware once again that this is a work that has brought together so many feelings through this single piece. Although it was not what I had expected in advance, the number of 500,000 people is truly amazing. We have continued to produce this work simply for the enjoyment of everyone, and as a result, we have been able to show such a happy view to you. The words "Code Geass" and "one million people" are very familiar to me, and since we did "One Million Zeros" in the TV series, I hope that "Lelouch of the Resurrection" will have "One Million Zeros". Wouldn't you like to see a headline like that in "Resurrection of Lelouch"? The audience responded with thunderous applause. I think this is one of our most special films, and I hope you will continue to love it. I hope that everyone will continue to love this work. Thank you very much for your kind attention," he said, expressing his feelings that "Lelouch of the Resurrection," a completely new work, is a special one for the cast and fans alike.
