PS4/Switch "PixARK" to be released in Summer 2019! Open World Dinosaur Survival ACT with "ARK: Survival Evolved" World in Blocks

Spike Chunsoft announced that the PS4/Switch version of "PixARK" (PixARK), an open-world dinosaur survival action game developed by Snail Games USA, will be released in Japan in summer 2019.

PixARK" (PixARK) is an open-world dinosaur survival action game that brings the world of the hit game "ARK: Survival Evolved" to the block, which was released on PS4 in October 2017 and has shipped over 200,000 copies to date. After waking up on a mysterious island, players can freely enjoy fighting and coexisting with dinosaurs, hunting, gathering materials, and building bases in a cute block world. In addition, the game's main attraction, massively multiplayer, can be played by up to 70 players.

The world of "PixARK" is a harsh world where no one exists except the player. A mysterious island with a wide variety of creatures
The most distinctive feature of "PixARK" is the dinosaurs and animals that roam the island. Players can hunt these creatures to obtain resources such as meat and skins. They can also be tamed and made to live together with the player, fighting enemies together, carrying items when exploring, or being ridden as a means of transportation.

In the world of "PixARK," players' lives are threatened not only by rabid creatures, but also by the climate and weather. Therefore, it is necessary to build a safe house to protect oneself in order to survive. When a player's life runs out during the game, most of the items he or she has will be dropped in their place, so the house also serves as a place to store items that are not immediately needed. Since the entire world of this title is made up of blocks, players can easily change the terrain at will, giving them even more crafting freedom than in "ARK: Survival Evolved".
