The picture book "Nakayoshi Chibi-Godzilla" is now on sale! Chibi Mothra and Chibi Anguirus make their first appearance! Movie "Chibi Godzilla's Eiga Manners" is also completed!

A new picture book about the "Chibi-Godzilla" character for children, "Nakayoshi Chibi-Godzilla," will be released in May 2019.

Chibi-Godzilla" is a picture book about "Godzilla, the first time you meet him. A Godzilla you can relate to. The character was drawn by the popular illustrator Sakazaki Kichiharu, known for his "Suica Penguin" and Chiba Prefecture's official character "Chibakun". The picture book "Ganbare Chibi-Godzilla" was released by Kodansha on October 24, 2018, and has been attracting a lot of attention, including an early decision to reprint the book in November.

A new picture book "Nakayoshi Chibi-Godzilla," a new version of "Chibi-Godzilla," is scheduled to be released in May 2019!　Here are the character designs of "Chibi Mothra" and "Chibi Anguirus," which will appear in "Nakayoshi Chibi Godzilla" as new friends, as well as comments from the author.

The story of this work begins when the lone Chibi Godzilla goes in search of friends and meets Chibi Mothra, Chibi Anguirus, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Radon.
Expectations are high for Chibi-Godzilla's world, which will expand with the addition of new friends.

In the second picture book, "Nakayoshi Chibi-Godzilla," Chibi-Angiras, Chibi-Mothra, Chibi-Ghidorah, and Chibi-Radon appear as Chibi-Godzilla's friends. The characters were designed through a process of trial and error so that their individual personalities and specialties would stand out.

Chibi-Godzilla looks happy to have made a friend. We hope that everyone will become friends with the characters.

In addition, in the animation "Chibi Godzilla's Eiga Manners," which was released along with the movie, Chibi Ghidorah, Chibi Radon, and the just-released Chibi Mothra make an appearance right away.
