Street Fighter V Type Arcade" will start operation on March 14! Official Tournament & Original Design Limited IC Card Information

Taito and Capcom announced that the arcade version of the popular fighting game "Street Fighter V Type Arcade" will be available at amusement arcades nationwide starting Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Street Fighter V" has been evolving since its release in February 2016, with the distribution of additional characters and various content, and was reborn in January 2018 as "Street Fighter V Arcade Edition" ("Street V AE") with the addition of an arcade mode and numerous other features. The popular fighting game continues to evolve.

The arcade version of "Street Fighter V Type Arcade" allows players to use all characters from the latest "Ver. 4.021," and in addition to "Link Match" that connects multiple machines in a store, it also allows "nationwide battles between stores," a first in the series. In addition to "Link Match," which connects multiple in-store casinos, the series also offers "Nationwide Matchups between stores" for the first time.

The newly designed dedicated control panel (included in the product package) has eight buttons, up from six in the previous version, for improved playability. Furthermore, for the first time in the series, the game is compatible with the "bring-your-own-controller" feature, allowing players to use their own controller (see the official website for confirmed controllers).

Also, by linking your "Fighter's ID (player account)" with the home version on the mobile site, you can use the costumes and colors you own for the home version in the arcade version as well, so that not only traditional arcade players but also players who mainly play the home version of the game can enjoy the game even more. This means that not only traditional arcade game players, but also players who mainly play home video games will be able to enjoy this title even more (*some exclusions apply).

This title will be available at amusement arcades nationwide from March 14 (Thu.)! In addition, information on official tournaments and originally designed "IC cards compatible with amusement IC cards" have also arrived, so let's take a look at them as well.
