PSYCHO-PASS is an original science fiction animation depicting a police force that is called to account in a near-future society where people's psychological states are quantified and managed.
The first season of the TV anime, which depicts the story of a near-future police force, aired from October 2012 to March 2013 on Fuji Television's "Noitamina" and other channels. The second season, which started in October 2014, was set a year and a half after the last episode of the first season, and a completely new story was depicted in the movie version released in January 2015, both of which became the talk of the town.

The opening greeting was held at TOHO CINEMAS Roppongi Hills.

Tomokazu Seki, who plays Shinya Cunningham, the main character in "Case 3: Beyond Vengeance," and director Naoyoshi Shiotani took the stage to greet the audience.
While they talked about the appeal of the work, the decision to produce the third season of the TV anime "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3" was announced, and a visual newly drawn by Akira Amano, who is in charge of character design, was also revealed.

The visual depicts two surveillance officers from the Public Security Bureau's Criminal Investigation Department Section 1, who will be the main characters in the third season of the TV anime, and it was announced that they will be played by Hiroki Kaji (Shindo Arata) and Yuichi Nakamura (Jiong Mikhail Ignatov).

About Case.3
Seki:
Director Shiotani asked me what kind of reactions I would have if I were Cunningham when working on the scenario for Case.3. I was very happy to hear that.

Director Shiotani:
In the process of making Case 3, I went to a military training facility to receive a lecture on the military, as well as to study the battle scenes. There were former members of the Self-Defense Forces and former members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Forces there, and they told me what kind of tactics would be best for such scenes and gave me simulation plans that would endure. Thanks to them, I think we were able to depict authentic battle scenes.

How did you feel about being selected to participate in the third season of the "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" TV anime?
Kaji:
I had previously appeared in the game version of "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass," which is a work with a worldview I really like, so I was very happy to be able to participate in the third season.

Nakamura:
I was very much looking forward to it even before I was asked to participate. I was expecting the recording to be hard and tiring, but I am having a lot of fun playing the role.
