Smartphone game "OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent" begins accepting applications for advance trial players!

Square Enix is now accepting players to participate in an advance trial version of the smartphone RPG "OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent". The application period ends at 23:59 on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Highlanders" is the latest title in the "OCTOPATH TRAVELER" RPG series for Nintendo Switch, which has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide. The smartphone version of the game is a free-to-play single-player RPG with a new story set several years before the continent of Orstella, where the eight main characters of "OCTOPATH TRAVELER" traveled.

The fantastic HD-2D world is realized on smartphones by adding "3DCG" screen effects to "dot pictures". The game features advanced command battles with a party of up to eight players and field commands that allow players to communicate with townspeople in a variety of ways. The game system has been optimized for smartphones to make it easy to play the charms of "OCTOPATH TRAVELER," allowing players to enjoy new role-playing experiences as they confront a great evil that has achieved great wealth, power, and fame.

Prior to the official release of "OCTOPATH TRAVELER: High Lords of the Continent," the game is now accepting players for an advance trial version!　They are planning to conduct a questionnaire to provide feedback on the opinions of the players of the advance trial version, so why not play the advance trial version and help make the game even better?
