The theme song of "Soukyu no Fafner THE BEYOND," which will be screened in advance at theaters from May 17, is "THE BEYOND" by "angela. The "Soukyu no Fafner" series is a science fiction anime that depicts boys and girls boarding the humanoid weapon "Fafner" and fighting for their lives against an unknown entity called "Festum. In May 2019, the first three episodes of the completely new "Fafner the Beyond" (12 episodes in total) will be shown at the same time in advance at theaters.

New information revealed at the "Soukyu no Fafner" Ultimate Box Release Commemorative Talk Event in Loft Plus One held on March 12 has now arrived. Let's take a look at the details right away.

First of all, the opening theme of "Fafner the Blue Sky" by music unit "angela" will be titled "THE BEYOND" and will be released on May 22 simultaneously with the soundtrack of the film.

The third and fourth theater advance tickets will also be available for purchase, and on March 22, mail order-only advance tickets for a set of four framed tickets featuring newly drawn illustrations will be available for pre-order. Advance tickets with a newly recorded character song CD will also go on sale.

On July 13, 15 years after the first TV anime season aired in July 2004, "Soukyu no Fafner" 15th anniversary event in Onomichi (tentative) will be held.
