Street Fighter V Type Arcade" began operation today, March 14!

TAITO and Capcom have announced that the arcade version of the popular fighting game "Street Fighter V Type Arcade" began operating at amusement arcades nationwide today, March 14 (Thursday).

Since its release in February 2016, "Street Fighter V" has delivered additional characters and various content, and in January 2018, it was reborn as "Street Fighter V Arcade Edition" ("Street V AE") with an arcade mode and numerous additional features, continuing to evolve even today. The Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is a popular fighting game that continues to evolve.

The arcade version of "Street Fighter V Type Arcade" allows players to use all characters from the latest "Ver. 4.021," and in addition to "Link Match" that connects multiple machines in a store, it also allows "Nationwide Battle between Stores," a first in the series. In addition to "Link Match," which connects multiple in-store casinos, the series also offers "Nationwide Matchups between stores" for the first time.

In addition, the newly designed dedicated control panel (included in the product package) has eight buttons, up from six in the previous version, for improved playability.
