The original TV animation "Tri Knights" themed on high school rugby is a coming-of-age story centered on two players who fight with their brains <tactics> and bodies <physical>.

The teaser visual for the TV anime "Tri Nights" has been released, and it has been announced that the anime will begin airing in the summer of 2019 on Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) and other networks.

The teaser visual depicts two contrasting main characters, Riku Haruma and Akira Kariya, and foreshadows their destiny that will begin through rugby.

The cast playing the main characters has also been announced.
The role of "Haruma Riku," who fights strategically using his brains, will be played by singer-songwriter and actor Sakamoto Shogo. The role of "Hikaru Kariya," a fighter with a strong fighting spirit and a wild sense of humor, will be played by KENN, who is active as a voice actor, actor, and singer in a wide range of anime productions.
