<Speakers' comments

─ Please tell us frankly how you feel about the opening of "Eiga no Osomatsu-san" today.
Director Fujita: It has been about a year since I started working on the film version, and I am a little nervous that this day has finally arrived.I think I can confidently say that I havedone everything I can do to make thisfilm.

─ How did you feel when you wrote the theme song "Good Goodbye" for this film?
Ami:After I was asked to write the theme song for this film, I watched the video before it was completed and developed my image of the song.I put a lot of thought into the song, hoping that it would be a song that would remind everyone watching the movie of the scenes in the movie while listening to the song.

─ This movie is 108 minutes long, could you tell us about the difficulties you faced during the postrecording?
Sakurai-san: The recording processwas tough, but looking back, it was a very fulfilling time.I think it turned out to be a wonderful work that will make youwonder,in a good way, whatthe story was like when you see the finished product with the video.

───Without spoiling anything, could you tell us about any scenes you recommend or points of interest?

Sakurai-san: I love the scene where Dayon is in trouble! I love the scene "Dayon is in trouble..." so much. It is a scene that I would like people to pay attention to in the film.
Mr. Matsubara: This is a bit of a pinpoint, but I like the scene where Decapang talks for a long time, and the conversation between Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu after that.I think this is a work that will change your impression as you watch it over and over again. Please enjoy it again and again.
Director Fujita: If you don't miss the beginning, you will understand the meaning of this story.3 years have passed since theTV animeseries, and this movie is the culmination of all that has happened so far. I hope as many people as possible will see it.

<Surprise guest, Mika Kano Special Interview

Which character is your favorite among the six children of "Osomatsu-san"?

It is Jyushimatsu. When Ichimatsu's cat went missing, I was in tears when he came back with a smile on his face after searching for it in the mud.

─ ─ What do you think is the charm of "Osomatsu-san"?
The whole story is often a joke, but I think it's the humanity and cuteness that comes out in the jokes.

───Could you tell us your impression of "Eiga no Osomatsu-san"?
It makes me smile and feel relaxed, even though I wonder if it is safe to say that the basic aspects of the story have not changed even though they have grown up.
I thought I would like to go on a date with Jyushimatsu since you all have no experience with women yet.

Mika's advice to the 18-year-olds on how to become respectable adults.
Mika: I think you can become a great adult by not forgetting your childlike spirit and by living a life of sincerity to yourself and to others.
