SEGA AGES Virtua Racing" on Switch to be released this spring! Additional elements including online 2P & offline 8P battles revealed!

SEGA Games has released game information details for "SEGA AGES Virtua Racing" for Nintendo Switch, which will be available this spring.

SEGA AGES" is a brand that reissues classic SEGA titles as faithfully as possible while incorporating new additional elements not found in the original versions or previous ports, making them more comfortable and enjoyable for more users.

Virtua Racing," which is scheduled for distribution this spring, is the first title of Sega's first full-fledged 3DCG board "MODEL 1" (Model 1). Switching between "Normal Race" and "Grand Prix Race" is supported!
The arcade version of the game supports switching between "Normal Race" and "Grand Prix Race" modes, which was possible in the board settings of the arcade version. In the Normal Race, the goal is reached after 4 or 5 laps, but in the Grand Prix Race, the player can complete as many as 20 (!?) laps! The Grand Prix Race is an endurance race with a total of 20 laps (!?). In the Grand Prix Race, the timing of tire changes in the pits is an important strategy, as the tires wear down and affect handling.

Play recording and replay playback are available!
Players can now record and replay their own play, something that was not possible in the arcade version of the game. You can switch the camera during replay, including the off-course viewpoint, by yourself.
