Production of the second season of the TV series of the anime "Re: Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" has been decided.

Re: Zero kara Hajimeru to Isekai Seikatsu" is an anime work based on a light novel by Tatsuhei Nagatsuki. It is a fantasy about an ordinary high school student who wanders into another world on his way home from a convenience store and ends up helping a girl find what she is looking for as a thank you for saving him in the other world. Directed by Masahiro Watanabe, series composition by Masahiro Yokoya, character design and chief animation director by Kyuta Sakai, and animation production by WHITE FOX.

Following the popularity of the TV anime broadcast from April to September 2016, a new episode OVA was decided to be produced in September 2017; in October 2018, "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Memory Snow" was screened in theaters. And it was announced that the second new episode OVA "Hyoketsu no Kizuna" would be screened in theaters.

This is the story of the heroine Emilia and the spirit Puck, until they meet and are called to the Roswirl residence.
