Arcade version of "BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" to launch in late April! Large-scale update for home-use to be implemented in mid-May & battle movies of new characters are now available!

Arc System Works announced that the arcade version of "BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" will begin operations at amusement arcades nationwide in late April 2019.

BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" is the latest title in the company's popular "BLAZBLUE" fighting game series. Major characters from "Persona 4 The ULTIMATE in MAYONAKA ARENA", "Under Night Inverse", and the 3DCG anime "RWBY" will participate in this title. The game allows players to enjoy dream tag-team battles that transcend the boundaries between works.

The game is a "2-on-2" game in which two characters fight as a tag team. The game features a "Smart Combo" system that allows players to perform combos with a series of button presses, and "Partner Skill" and "Partner Combo" systems that allow players to control their partner to automatically attack in accordance with the character they are controlling.

The arcade version of "BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" features the addition of four new characters, battle balance adjustments for all existing characters, and tuning of the battle system, allowing players to enjoy battles with a fresh sensation.

The arcade version of BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE is now set to launch in late April 2019!　In addition, information on a major update for the home version to be implemented in mid-May 2019 and battle movies of new characters have also been released.

An update (Ver. 1.5) with balance adjustments equivalent to those in the arcade version of "BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" will be implemented in mid-May 2019. DLC for the newly added characters "Hato Aino", "Naoto=Kurogane", "Kuma", and "Seto" will also be distributed on the same day, so look forward to the update!
