An advance screening of the TV animation "Azur Lane" episode 01 "The Girls Who Run the Sea" was held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya on September 29 (Sun.).

Shinnosuke Tachibana, a voice actor who is also a fan of the original game and has appeared on live TV programs and events related to the game, served as MC for the event. The first "initial ship" that can be selected in the original game, Ayanami, Laffey, and Javelin, are played by Ms. Daichiha, Ms. Maria Naganawa, and Ms. Nozomi Yamane.
