The TV anime "Kedama no Gonjiroe" will begin airing on April 6 (Sat) on six TV Tokyo networks.

Kedama no Gonjiro" is a new anime from the "Gonjiro Project" involving the Sony Group, including Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, Shogakukan Corocoro Comic, Bandai, and TV Tokyo. The comedy story depicts the interaction between Makoto, a slightly timid and headstrong fifth grader, and Gonjiro, a mysterious life form whose entire body is made of a red ball of woolen yarn.

In addition, the "Gonjiro Project" will be in full swing, starting with the broadcast of the TV anime, including the release of toys and the distribution of a game app for smartphones, so be sure to check it out as well.

ForwardWorks, Inc. plans to start distributing the game app "Kedama no Gonjiro Fit End Run" for smartphones in April 2019. Kedama no Gonjiro Fit End Run" is a run-action game in which players control the running Gonjiro to clear a stage, making full use of two types of touch controls, "hair action" and "jump action," to conquer enemies and gimmicks that block their way. Gonjiro's abilities can be changed by equipping the "Henshin Button," which is available in the game. Please enjoy the simple yet profound and exhilarating action that only Gonjiro can provide.

Bandai Co., Ltd. will release a series of "Kedama no Gonjiro" related products from April 20, 2019 (Saturday). Shogakukan The comic has been serialized since the October 2018 issue of Monthly Corocoro Comic!
