The hot-blooded robot anime "NG Knight Ramune & 40," which has been broadcast as a TV anime since 1990 and became a pioneering work in media mix development such as OVAs, novels, and radio dramas, will be released in a Blu-ray box set in 2020, the 30th anniversary of its birth.

The complete package will include all 38 episodes of the TV series as well as the OVAs "EX" and "DX. Digitally remastered from the original masters, the full-volume and compact box contains over 10 hours per disc in "high-rate SD (480i)" picture quality that surpasses DVD quality. <Synopsis>
One day, Baba Ramune, a 4th grader in elementary school who is a TV game freak, clears a game he bought on his way home from school, and a girl - actually Princess Milk of the Kingdom of Arara - appears from the TV and takes him to Haraharan World as "Ramune, the chosen hero. Waiting for Ramune in Haraharan World were the great magician Don Harmage and his friends, who were plotting to conquer the world. In order to stop Don Harmage's ambition to revive Gobouriki, the god of magic, he calls upon his guardian knight, King Crusher, and confronts them.
