AnimeJapan 2019, one of the world's largest anime events, was held at Tokyo Big Sight for two days on March 23 and 24, 2019.On March 23, the first day of the event, a stage event for the TV anime "We Can't Study" was held on the OASIS GREEN Stage.

Bokutachi ga Shugaku ga Dekinai" is a school love comedy by Taishi Tsutsui, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). In order to obtain a recommendation to be exempted from university tuition fees, the main character, TADAGA Naruyuki, a senior in high school, takes on the role of a teacher who helps his classmates who are struggling to study for the entrance examinations. However, the students he teaches are the most beautiful genius girls in the school, who were thought to be flawless, but their weakest subjects are completely clumsy! The film depicts the slapstick love story between the struggling high school boy who takes on the role of teacher and the heroines who are working hard to achieve their dreams.

The TV anime's production staff is directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki, who has created many romantic comedy anime hits, including "Love Hina" and "Zero no Tsukaima. The series composition is by Zouka Gyo of "BEATLESS" and "Brend S." The character design is by Saki. Character design is by Masakatsu Sasaki of "Saki" series "Sore wo Seiyu! The series is composed of "BEATLESS" and "Blend S" by Yoshiaki Sasaki. Production will be handled by st silver x arvo animation.

On March 23, at AnimeJapan 2019 held at Tokyo Big Sight, a special stage for the TV anime "Bokutachi ga Shugaku ga Dekinai" was held. （The cast members of the TV anime "Boku Tsutomu," which will start airing on April 6, included Ryota Aisaka (played by Shigeyuki Taduga), Haruka Shiraishi (played by Fumino Furuhashi), Miu Tomita (played by Risu Ogata), Sayumi Suzushiro (played by Uruka Takemoto), Lynn (played by Mafuyu Kirisu), and Maruka Asahina (played by Asumi Kominami). According to producer Nobuhiro Nakayama, who was in charge of hosting the event, "This is the first time all six main cast members are together. The cast members were having fun backstage as well," said Lynn, and it was clear from the stage that the cast members were getting along well with each other.
