The four winners of these matches advance to the group stage.
Group Stage
The 12 teams exempted from the play-in stage and the 4 teams that won the play-in stage, for a total of 16 teams, will participate in the group stage. 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
Knockout Stage
The 8 teams that have won their group stage will advance to the knockout stage, which consists of the Quarterfinal, Semifinal, and Final rounds. In the knockout stage, the teams will play in a Bo5 single-elimination tournament (no resurrection). The matchups will be decided on the day of the event (before the start of the games) at a lottery held on stage. The team that comes out on top after winning the knockout stage will become the 2019 "LoL" World Champion.
