ANEMONE: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution" Blu-ray & DVD release commemorative screening official report! Ami Koshimizu and Kaori Nazuka took the stage!

On March 23, 2019, "ANEMONE: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution" Blu-ray & DVD release memorial screening was held at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas. Here is the official report from the event.


Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN" broadcast from 2005 to 2006 depicts the story of a mysterious girl "Eureka" and a boy "Renton" on a planet where invisible and unknown particle trapar waves drift through the atmosphere, along with various elements such as giant robots and techno music, and was supported by a wide range of people. This TV animation work was popular among a wide range of viewers. After its broadcast, it has been developed in various media including an anime movie in 2009 and a sequel "Eureka seveN AO" broadcast in 2012.
⇒The second part of the theatrical version of "Eureka seveN", "ANEMONE: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution" will be released this fall! The film depicts the trajectory of Anemone's soul as she is deployed on the battlefield.

Blu-ray&DVD of "ANEMONE: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution," the second part of the series, will be released on March 26, 2019. To commemorate this, special screenings of the Blu-ray & DVD version were held in Tokyo (Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas), Nagoya (109 Cinemas Nagoya), and Osaka (Umeda Burg 7) on March 23.

At the Tokyo venue, Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas, Ami Koshimizu, who plays Ishii, Fuka, and Anemone, and Kaori Nazuka, who plays Eureka, appeared on stage after the screening to greet the audience.

The full-length movie shown on this day was the retake version included in the Blu-ray & DVD. Witnessing the footage, Koshimizu asked the audience, "Did you see what was changed? When asked what they were talking about in the audio commentary, which is also included in the Blu-ray special limited edition, Ms. Koshimizu and Ms. Nazuka replied, "In the TV series, there were a lot of bad adults (laughs), but this time, we are going to support the children! "But this time, there are a lot of adults who are like, "I'm going to support the children!" Ms. Koshimizu responded, "Yes, I felt warmed when I played the role. We were talking about that kind of thing.

As for the characters played in the film, Mr. Nazuka said, "Eureka may have been in a different kind of difficult situation this time. In the past, she was "put through" hard times by the influence of those around her, but this time, she showed her own selfishness or childishness...I think she had it coming. At the end of the show, the two moved to the center of the auditorium for a commemorative photo. Fans held up stuffed animals of Gulliver, Anemone's favorite character, which were distributed as a special gift to visitors on the day of the event, and all were captured in the frame with smiles on their faces.
