Grisaia: Phantom Trigger THE ANIMATION" Stage Greeting Official Report
Front Wing, which has released the popular game series "Grisaia no Kajitsu", "Grisaia no Maze", and "Grisaia no Rakuen" and adapted them into anime, is adapting its latest work "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger" into anime. The latest work, "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger" was released in theaters on March 15 as "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger THE ANIMATION".

On March 16, a stage greeting was held at EJ Anime Theater Shinjuku in Shinjuku, Tokyo, to commemorate the start of the screening, with Aino Nanjo (who plays Maki) and Mikako Izawa (who plays Akisori Arisaka), who also performs the ED theme of the work, as artists. The stage greeting was held the day after the film's release, and all the screenings at EJ Anime Theater Shinjuku on that day were sold out.

Unfortunately, Ms. Nanjo was unable to attend the special advance screening talk show held on January 26 due to the flu.

In her first greeting, she made the audience laugh by telling a story herself, "I am Aino Nanjo, who played the role of Maki Inohara, who was absent in January due to the flu but is now in good health.

Mikako Izawa plays the role of Akisauri Arisaka and is also the promotion captain of "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger The Animation".

A special film is being distributed as an admission bonus for the theatrical screening anime "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger The Animation". Izawa said, "I'm so happy that Mr. Arisaka is in the film," to which Nanjo responded, "It's fate! and the audience applauded.
The audience applauded. Unfortunately, Ms. Nanjo was not able to pull out any maki and said, "I didn't get any chanmaki. Is there a Chanmaki (in the special film)? but there was someone else in the audience who did...!
The special film was selected carefully, and the word "futomomo" was mentioned as particularly impressive. Ms. Nanjo said, "I don't think it's often that you get to see them in detail.

As for her feelings about the theatrical release of the film, Ms. Nanjo said, "I was happy when one of my fans said, 'I didn't know you were playing the role of Nanjo,' so please pay attention to what kind of performance you are giving. I heard that the movie has been brushed up from the preliminary screening to the theatrical release, so please make sure to watch it all the way to the end. Izawa said, "I am genuinely happy that the work I have been working on since the game has been made into an anime and will finally be released in theaters. I am very grateful to everyone who helped us with the crowdfunding this time.

The two were asked to introduce the characters they play without spoiling anything. Nanjo said, "Maki has a bad mouth. Her overall coloring is black. The skin tone is skin tone. Just look at it," he commented simply. Ms. Nanjo's costume for this stage greeting was designed with Maki's black in mind. Ms. Izawa said, "Mr. Arisaka is a teacher, and he is a new teacher who is assigned to Mihama Academy. I think she is in the same position as those who see this work for the first time, and she will be your eyes. She is shy and intimidating, but when she thinks of her students, she can step up to the plate.

As for a recommended scene, the scene in the film where she eats something came up for discussion. Ms. Nanjo also gave her recommendation, saying, "If you are hungry now, you will be in trouble after watching the movie. When the topic of food during the movie was brought up, Izawa leaned forward and said, "I buy everything, like half salted popcorn and half caramel, hot dogs, etc. I eat a lot of churros! I eat a lot of churros! I eat churros and so much more! Ms. Nanjo said, "I buy popcorn because I want to eat it, but I'm so caught up in the movie that it often stays until the end, so I've given up buying it now.

The topic then turned to the ED theme "Sayonara no Wakusei" for which Ms. Nanjo is in charge as an artist. Speaking about the recording session, Nanjo said, "I was very particular about the pronunciation of 'hourglass. At first, I was pronouncing the "sue" sound clearly, but the director wanted me to extend it with a "kee" sound. The CD single "Sayonara no Wakusei" will be released on March 13, 2019 in a standard edition and a limited first edition that includes the music video.

Mr. Izawa also talked about the hit prayer ceremony he participated in as the leader of the publicity team for the film. Mr. Izawa said, "I was able to participate in the hit prayer ceremony and dedicate an ema (votive tablet) at the Tokyo Daijingu Shrine. I was nervous because it was my first experience, but when the priest said "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger the Animation," I said to him, "Not 'the,' but 'Ji. Everyone involved in the event was united in their feeling that it was not a "the" but a "J."" He revealed the episode in a friendly manner.

The greeting ended with a message from the two to the fans.

Comment from Aino Nanjo
I hope everyone will enjoy the movie. The battle scenes are very powerful, and the images and sounds are very impressive. I haven't seen it in the theater yet, so to be honest, I am envious of you all. I hope you will pick up a copy of "Sayonara no Wakusei" and the OP theme by Maon Kurosaki, "Genso no Ranbu" when you leave. Please enjoy the show to the end. Thank you very much for your time today.

■Mikako Izawa comment
Thank you very much for today. There are only a few screening theaters now, but I hope that the number of screening theaters will increase and those who saw the film today will be able to boast that they saw it on the first two days of the festival. It is very nice and luxurious to hear the opening song "Ring Dance of Illusion" and the closing song "Sayonara no Wakusei" at a loud volume with movie theater sound quality. Please enjoy the show until the very end! Thank you very much for your time today.
