Monster Hunter World: Iceborn" (Capcom), the latest title in the "Monster Hunter" series, has been on sale on PS4 since September 6. New information, including "Challenge Quests" for this title, has been released.

The "Monster Hunter" series is a hunting action game in which players face off against giant monsters in a magnificent natural setting. In "Monster Hunter: World," the latest title in the series, the first for a console in nine years, players become hunters who set foot on a "new continent" as part of a research team and explore an unknown continent.

The additional content "Monster Hunter World: Iceborn" depicts the world after the ending of the main story. The game is set in an extremely cold region and is packed with a vast array of elements, including various areas and monsters, as well as new actions added to the currently implemented weapons.


The information released this time includes new challenge quests as well as an additional element called the "Lower Level Hunter Helpful Reward Frame. The MR Advanced Challenge Quest 02 will run from Friday, October 18 through Friday, November 1. The target of the quest is the wrath-eating Evil Joe. The quest rewards include "Coins of the Heroic King" as a participation reward, and "High-end meal coupons" may also be obtained as quest rewards.


The "Lower Rank Hunter Help Reward Quota" is a system in which an exclusive reward quota is added by helping a lower-ranked hunter in his or her quest. If the player is a master rank, the higher and lower rank hunters are eligible, and if the player is a higher rank hunter, the lower rank hunters are eligible. For details, please check below.

■Reward quota for helping lower-ranked hunters
A new reward quota will be added for helping hunters of lower ranks than yourself. Master Rank" players can help "Higher Rank" and "Lower Rank" players, and "Higher Rank" hunters can help "Lower Rank" hunters by taking quests together that are ordered by the party being helped, which will result in one additional reward slot that will be exclusively rewarded.

Help new hunters who have started playing with the launch of "Monster Hunter World: Iceborn" and higher-ranked hunters who are aiming for the Master rank to get the reward.
