Space Battleship Yamato 2202" Concert 2019, to be held on October 14, will be released on Blu-ray! One-night-only special arrangement of the play and singing by gorgeous artists will be filmed.

The first concert of "Space Battleship Yamato 2202" to be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall on October 14, 2019 (Monday, national holiday) will be made into a video! The "Space Battleship Yamato 2202" Concert 2019 Blu-ray will be released on March 27, 2020.

Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a sequel to "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," the much talked-about remake of the classic "Space Battleship Yamato" of yesteryear. As the title suggests, the film is inspired by the 1978 animated film "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love," and depicts a new voyage of the Yamato crew to confront the threat of the battle nation Imperial Star Gatlantis and the threat it poses to a recovering Earth three years after the Yamato's voyage to Iskandar.

On October 14, 2019 (Monday, national holiday), the film's first concert will be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall.
The concert will feature a one-night-only special arrangement of the film's musical accompaniment by Akira Miyagawa, a musician whose father and son have been involved in the Yamato soundtrack for two generations, along with skilled musicians! The concert will also feature the singing of Koichi Yamadera, Ayaka Hirahara, and other talented artists who sang the ending theme song of the film.

This time, a film version of such a gorgeous concert has been decided! It was announced that the "Space Battleship Yamato 2202" Concert 2019 Blu-ray will be released on March 27, 2020.
A CD containing the concert's soundtrack will be included as a bonus. The video extras will include the making of the concert and music featurettes from past events.
