Recharged, together to continue the dream!　Sphere 10th anniversary Live 2019 "Ignition" live report that ignited the Sphere fever.

LAWSON presents Sphere 10th anniversary Live 2019 "Ignition", a live performance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the unit Sphere by Minako Kotobuki, Ayayo Takagaki, Haruka Tomatsu, and Aki Toyosaki was held at the Maihama Amphitheater on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

LAWSON presents Sphere live tour 2017 "We are SPHERE!!!!!"" in November 2017. The four members had passed the "1st Super Voice Actor Audition" held by Music Rain and had been performing as "Music Rain girls" at the beginning of the tour. They announced the formation of Sphere at an event held on February 15, 2009, and the following year they held a solo live performance at the Nippon Budokan, the first time for a voice-over unit and the fastest ever for a voice-over artist at the time, and have been running without a break as pioneers. During the recharging period, although they ostensibly did not engage in any musical activities, they had been meeting behind the scenes to discuss restarting their career. The audience was filled with fans who had been eagerly waiting for the day of the event, as it was the first time in about one year and three months that they would be able to see Sphere perform live. Before the show began, the logo of the concert was projected on the curtain, and a simple stage without a band set and a panel with the words "SPHERE" engraved in large letters peeked out faintly behind it.

As the lights went down, a phrase from the song "Endless Anniversary" began to play, a song filled with personal feelings, based on letters from each of the four members describing their thoughts on their 10th anniversary. Endless Anniversary" was also the last song announced and sung before the recharge, and the continuation of the miracle story is about to begin.

The opening movie, which reminded us of a magnificent universe, was projected on the screen, and the four members appeared in the center of the stage, illuminated by four colors of lights. The members' wish to start the end of the year with "Endless Anniversary" and "Future Stream" was also fulfilled. The fans responded to the four members' wishes with all their might, and the audience was more enthusiastic and spirited than usual. They sang "A.T.M.O.S.P.H.E.R.E.," the lead song from their first album, and their energetic voices filled the circular stage. Ding! Ding! Ding! Dong!", a song that could only be sung by the four of them and filled with their charm, and "LET ME DO! the theme song of their own TV show "Sphere Club".

After singing four songs, the MC part of the show began with "Good evening, everyone!　LAWSON presents Sphere 10th Anibya ...... (laugh)." Takagaki-san showed his usual loose attitude. (Laughs.)" Takagaki was as loose as ever, and he started off by biting his tongue at the very first word. They made the title call and then greeted the audience, ending with a Sphere pose and the words, "We are Sphere! and then, with the Sphere pose, "We're Sphere! (Tomatsu) with a big smile on his face.

At this point, Mr. Takagaki said, "A certain person has something to apologize for. The audience laughed hysterically, and the three of them moved a little away from Mr. Tomatsu. ...... In a somewhat familiar scene, Tomatsu got down on his knees. The four of them had promised to wear matching rings decorated with Saturn, which Kotobuki-san had given them as a gift before the recharging period and during the production of the 20th single, at the radio open recording event "Choco Festival 2019" held the day before this live. However, Tomatsu-san had forgotten about it and could not find the ring anywhere in his house.

The four of them showed off the ring on the index finger of their left hands. Toyosaki-san drew rings for the other three and Kotobuki-san drew one for Tomatsu-san. Tomatsu-san was slightly disappointed with the quality of the rings, but expressed his honest feelings toward the members, saying, "But I love you all. In the end, Mr. Takagaki asked, "Let's buy new accessories for the four of us to commemorate the 10th anniversary.　It seems that the bond between the four of us is strong.

Let's ignite the 10th anniversary and beyond with all our might! (Takagaki), and declared Sphere's principles and claims with "SPHERE-ISM" from their 5th album. Takagaki-san stood in the light and overwhelmed the fans with his powerful vocal performance of "Ai no Yoh". Next, Kotobuki performed the EDM number "Another Wonderland," which shook the venue. Kotobuki-san then left the stage, and the third soloist, "Scribble Dictionary," began, as if it were a ...... song. Kotobuki, who had changed into a white dress, appeared on stage and sang a solo part at the beginning of the song. From there, she appeared on stage one by one to sing her solo part, which was an unprecedented performance. In the latter half of the song, they added new choreography and sang the sad lyrics softly. For the next song, "Spring is here," CG images were projected on the screen, and bright flowers and cherry blossoms in full bloom added color to the four members' performance. Although it was still early in the cherry blossom season, the audience could feel the arrival of spring.

The first topic of discussion during the MC part again was the set list. From about 70 songs, they each picked 10 songs that they "definitely want to sing this song," and based on that, they decided on the set list. As they looked back on the 10 years since their debut, Tomatsu was the only one whose memory was a little fuzzy. Toyosaki reminded him, "Haruka, there is a word in the world called 'persuasiveness,'" and he laughed, saying, "Today, if I have any trouble, I will look at my index finger (ring) to warn myself.

After each of the four artists spoke about their feelings on the 10th anniversary of their debut, the second half of the solo corner began. Ms. Toyosaki, dressed in a pale green costume, sang "Clover" while smiling gently at the light and smiling faces in the audience. Ms. Tomatsu, dressed in a white T-shirt and an orange bandage, chose "Orange Revolution" as her song of choice. She performed "The Legendary Bird" and ran around the stage in her typical Tomatsu style.

Ms. Kotobuki, Ms. Takagaki, and Ms. Toyosaki appeared in place of Mr. Tomatsu, dressed in white with gradient checks, and the intro of "NEVER ENDING PARTY!!!! The introduction of "NEVER ENDING PARTY" started without one of the members, which was a thrilling performance. Of course, Mr. Tomatsu-san changed quickly and rushed into the stage just before the song began. The five mirror balls were in full operation, and the seven-color lights made the party time more colorful.

The following song "Miracle shooter" had the audience moving their bodies with all their might right from the "gorilla dance" part at the beginning of the song, and the voltage of the venue was rising. The audience's energy level was rising and the song "High Powered" was sung with two panels, "H" and "P," remaining on the stage. The name of the song was abbreviated to "HP," a playful use of the set. The song was sung briskly, interspersed with some small theatrics such as putting one's hand on the panel and Mr. Tomatsu's "Sushi Zammai" pose.

When the SPHERE panel came together, the live went into the last spurt. I'm coming to see you all! (Tomatsu) and the four jumped out from the stage to the four stands set up in the aisle of the audience seats. In the second part of the show, they switched their standing positions and exchanged smiles with the fans in close proximity. Returning to the stage, they performed "Planet Freedom" and "Non stop road" in beautiful unison. The moment of "understanding each other," which had been a long time coming, was filled with happiness.

At the end of the show, the audience said, "Thank you so much for today! (Kotobuki), "This is just the beginning! (Takagaki), "Thank you for a fun time! (Tomatsu), "Let's meet again for sure! (Toyosaki). However, the live did not end there. The encore naturally started.

The encores never stopped, and the four members in live T-shirts reappeared to sing "Kimi ga Taiyo (You're the Sun)". Thank you. We still wanted to sing more! to which the three members responded with "Ne~♪" in unison, and then it was on to the "Announcement Corner".

Tomatsu-san said, "I didn't want to form a unit if it wasn't the four of us," and then he reenacted his famous words from the day the group was formed, but Takagaki-san made his first pun of the day, saying, "I want you to look at each of the exhibits one by one," and then he raised his hands in a sphere pose. At the end of the announcement, the national tour was revealed for the first time. When the four of them announced the tour title "Sphere 10th anniversary Live tour 2019 "A10tion! The second encore song, "Super Noisy Nova," had the stage spinning, a performance unique to Maihama Amphitheater. The heat continued to build, but when the next song was to be the last one, the audience shouted, "What? The next song was to be the last one. In response, Tomatsu-san said, "We want to keep singing, too, but, you know. What was it again? You know, ....... If it doesn't end, it doesn't end! Takagaki-san, who played Saki Mizukoshi in the anime "Natsuiro Kiseki" in which the four of them were the main cast members, performed the original "If it doesn't end, it won't become a memory". Incidentally, the first episode of such "Natsuiro Kiseki" was recorded on February 14, 2012. Looking back, it was said that the first meeting of the four members took place in the middle of February, and February seems to be a season with many memories for them.

Before the last song of the day, each member spoke one by one about his/her feelings.

Tomatsu-san began by saying, "I was really looking forward to today. When I first saw the expressions on everyone's faces saying "Welcome back! I really enjoyed the day of the live. It was a really fun day. Referring to the upcoming tour, she said, "I would like to develop the tour in many more ways. Please look forward to the future activities of this veteran idol.

Mr. Toyosaki, who has often said that he is glad to be a member of Sphere and that it is thanks to everyone that he is now, was the first to express his gratitude on this day, saying, "Sphere has grown up surrounded by everyone's love. I would like to make this year a year in which I can continue to express my voice and feelings in various ways to everyone who has made this beloved Sphere what it is.

Around 2 a.m. on the day of the Chocolate Festival 2019, "We are SPHERE!!!!! Takagaki said he decided to watch the live video of "We are SPHERE" around 2 am on the day of the "Choco Festival 2019" and watched it through DISC2. He said, "I was so excited that at around 3:30 a.m., I said to the Sphere LINE group, 'I'm watching "We are SPHERE!!!!!" right now. I'm watching it. It's so emo, it's amazing. I sent a message to the Sphere LINE group saying, "It's so emo, it's amazing. I hope that the circle of Sphere will be the best place for us and for you to return to anytime. We have to make this the best 10th anniversary year together with everyone!　I wish you all the best in the future! As the "head" of Sphere, he gave a few words of encouragement.

The youngest member, Kotobuki, who was unusually nervous just before going out on stage, was asked by the "head" to close the event. So I was a little bit scared, but I am really, really happy to be here today with everyone and to be able to do the "Ignition" together. I would like to continue to share with all of you the scenery that can only be seen by the four of us, so please continue to support us! For the last number of the show, the four members called out the title of the song and performed the new song "Music Power→!!!!" for the first time. It is the lead song of the 10th Anniversary Album "10s," a fitting opening to the 10th anniversary.

In the early days, Sphere used to make surprise announcements with "Shiritori" videos, such as announcing the formation of a new unit and the Budokan live. During the recharging period, they were always conscious of "remembering their original intention," and the release of this album was also announced at the "Choco Matsuri 2019" using a Shiritori video. Also, since the Budokan live, the first performances of songs have always been performed by band members, but there were no band members at this live. This time, however, there were no band members in attendance.

Now, "Music Power→!!!! was co-written by rino and Sphere. The solo parts of the A-melody and B-melody were written by each member, while the chorus was written by Mr. Rino, who has contributed many songs to the group in the past. The lyrics of the chorus were written by Mr. Rino, who has provided many songs for the girls in the past, and their feelings were conveyed directly to the audience. The structure of the song, in which the solo parts were performed one by one and the chorus was performed in comfortable unison, was also wonderful.

At the end of the song, they picked up a piece of silver tape, and holding it together, they bowed "Thank you very much! and bowed. As they left the stage, I could sense the confidence and hope that they had built up over the past 10 years.
