An advance screening of the TV anime "Kono Oto Tomare! was held on March 31 (Sun) at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, where #1 and #2 (episodes 1 and 2) were screened and the main casts gave talks.

Kono Oto Tomare! is a manga written by Amieux and set in Tokise High School's koto club, which is on the verge of being discontinued. The CD "Kono Oto Tomare," which was released on March 8, 2017, was also released! ~Tokise High School Koto Club" won the Excellence Award in the Record Division of the 72nd Japan Arts Festival, as well as the 32nd Japan Gold Disc Award for Pure Japanese Music Album of the Year.
Platinum Vision, an up-and-coming studio that has produced "SERVAMP," "Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST," and "Devil's Line," will be in charge of animation production.

TV anime "Kono Oto Tomare!" which will start airing from 25:00 on April 6 (Sat), 2019. An advance screening was held on March 31 (Sun) at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, where #1 and #2 (episodes 1 and 2) were screened and the main cast members gave talks.


At the beginning of the screening, Haruki Ishitani, who plays Minoru Adachi, appeared as MC. After an announcement about today's screening, #1 and #2 were shown on the theater screen. After viewing the two stories, the main cast members Yuma Uchida (Ai Kudo/ending theme), Junya Enoki (Musashi Kurata), Atsumi Tanazaki (Satowa Houzuki), and Shota Aoi (Mio Kanzaki and opening theme) took the stage to talk about their roles in the show. They talked about their impressions and highlights of #1 and #2 shown on the day, as well as their own impressions of the characters. He also revealed a secret story about the production of the anime adaptation of the manga, in which "expressions unique to anime" are often considered in the production process, and the cast and staff discuss with each other during postrecording.


Shota Aoi and Yuma Uchida will sing the opening and closing theme songs, respectively. Aoi said that "Tone" was a song filled with "youth" and that the song's music video included a choreography showing three fingers playing a koto (Japanese stringed instrument). As for the ending theme "Speechless," Uchida said that the title of the song expresses the feeling of feeling and conveying people's hearts beyond words.


Toward the end of the talk, the latest information about the anime was released. First, the fourth addition to the cast was announced. Tetsuo Kaneo will play Ai's grandfather, Kudo Gen; Natsuki Hanae will play Musashi's younger brother, Kurata Takeryu; Ayaka Asai will play Mashiro, an alumnus of the Tokise High School koto club; and Nana Mizuki will play Ai's aunt, Kudo Kisaki. Expectations are high for their appearance in the film as characters who support Ai, Musashi, and the others.

In addition, from April 2 (Tue) to April 6 (Sat), "Kono Oto Tomare! characters' countdown voices will be released every day from April 2 (Tue.) to April 6 (Sat.) on the official Twitter and official website. It will be a surprise which character will appear on the day, so be sure to check it out.
