Level-5 released the game "Yokai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch" for the Nintendo Switch today, Thursday, October 10, 2019. This is the first title in the nationally popular "Yokai Watch" series, originally released for the Nintendo DS in 2013 and refined for the Switch. In addition to HD graphics, various elements have been added, including an internet communication battle function and additional character voices. Both the packaged and downloadable versions are priced at 4,980 yen (excluding tax).

As a purchase bonus for both packaged and downloadable versions, the game comes with a download number for "Ika Kamone Chairperson," which can be used with "YOKAI WATCH 4: Bokura wa SAME Sora wo Mukagameteiru," currently on sale, and "YOKAI WATCH 4++," scheduled for release on December 5, 2012.

In addition, to commemorate the release of this title, users who download the "Free Update Data Ver. 1.1," which is currently being distributed, will receive a "5-star coin" that can be used in the Yokai Gasha (Specter Gasha).
