A new Music & Puzzle division was added to Japan's largest arcade version of the e-Sports tournament "Toushin Matsuri 2020 - World Championship of ARCADE"!

TAITO has announced the establishment of a new music and puzzle division for the "Toushin Matsuri 2020 - World Championship of ARCADE" ("Toushin Matsuri 2020"), scheduled to be held in 2020.

The "Toushin Matsuri" is one of the largest e-Sports tournaments in Japan for arcade games. The preliminary rounds will be held at game centers nationwide, and representatives who have won the finals in each area will gather to fight for the title of the strongest player. The tournament has been held annually since 2015 and will be held for the fifth time next year. The "Fighting Festival 2020" has so far revealed the existence of a fighting/action division and a drive division.

With the establishment of the new divisions, the titles that will compete were also identified. The three music divisions are "SOUND VOLTEX VIVID WAVE," "jubeat festo," and "Taiko Drum Master Green Ver. In the puzzle category, " Tetris The Absolute The Grandmaster 2 PLUS ". In addition, the "Toushin Matsuri 2020" is now accepting applications from stores that will hold qualifying competitions.
