The demo version of "Mario & Sonic AT Tokyo 2020 Olympics" for Switch is now available! Opening movie also released at the same time!

Mario & Sonic AT Tokyo 2020 Olympics" (Sega Games) is scheduled for release on November 1, 2019 for Nintendo Switch. The distribution of the demo version of this title began today on the Nintendo eShop.


Mario & Sonic AT Tokyo 2020 Olympics" is the latest in the official Olympic game series. Mario, Sonic, and other characters will take on various competitions. The game is based on the "Tokyo 2020 Olympics," which will be held next year, and features newly adopted sports such as karate and surfing. The game also includes many of the events that were used at the time of the 1964 Olympics.



In the demo version distributed this time, you can play a part of "Tokyo 2020 Games" and "Tokyo 1964 Games". From the "Tokyo 2020 Games," there are five events: surfing, karate, 110m hurdles, badminton, and archery, while from the "Tokyo 1964 Games," there are two events: long jump and 10m high jump. In badminton and archery, users can also enjoy cooperative play.


In conjunction with the distribution of the demo version, the opening movie of the game was also released. In the movie, you can catch a glimpse of Mario and Sonic challenging the "Tokyo 2020 Games," the "Tokyo 1964 Games," and the game's original "Dream Games. Be sure to check it out.
