Kinnikuman: 40th Anniversary of Friendship Exhibition" will be held at Tobu Department Store's Ikebukuro main store from October 16 (Wed) to October 29 (Tue), 2019 at the 8th floor event space.

The exhibition will be held in three cities, Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the serialization of "Kinnikuman. In Tokyo, the event will be held only at the Tobu Department Store's Ikebukuro main store. The "Autumn Meat Gourmet Festival" will be held at the same time, and about 10 collaborative products with "Kinnikuman" characters will be available.

Kinnikuman: 40th Anniversary of Friendship" is a pro-wrestling and gag manga that began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) in 1979 and caused a huge boom throughout Japan. The event celebrates the 40th anniversary of the popular "Kinnikuman" series, which has sold a total of 75 million copies and is still being serialized by Shukupre NEWS.

More than 100 color illustrations and rare original drawings from his debut work to his latest work will be exhibited at the venue. The exhibition will include "The History of Yudetamago-sensei," "Kinnikuman and the Superheroes Who Fought," "Trail of Battle," "The Power of Friendship," "New Chapter: A New Fight! Nostalgic Treasure Goods," "Photo Spot," and many other must-see exhibits for fans to enjoy. This is a commemorative exhibition that looks back on the trajectory of Kinnikuman, which Yudetamago has continued to draw with the power of friendship.
