The first video introducing the "Mega Drive Mini," scheduled for release on September 19, 2019 (Thursday), as well as the titles included in the machine, has been released on YouTube.

The "Mega Drive Mini" is a palm-sized recreation of Sega's fifth home video game console, the "Mega Drive," released 30 years ago in 1988. 154 (W) x 39 (H) x 116 (D) mm, this new game machine contains 40 game titles in a compact body. From action and shooting games to puzzles, RPGs, simulations, and more, this is the "Mega Drive history" of classic titles. The "Mega Drive Mini W," which includes two control pads essential for competitive and cooperative play, will also be released at the same time.

The two "Mega Drive Mini" introduction videos were shown at the "Sega Fest 2019" event held at Bellesalle Akihabara on March 30 (Sat.) and 31 (Sun.). It is narrated by the celebrity Seiko Ito, who appeared in the original "Mega Drive" TV commercial.

The "Mega Drive Mini" is scheduled to go on sale on September 19, 2019 (Thursday), and reservations are starting today at game retailers nationwide.
