Rare full-color original drawings of the critically acclaimed serialization "Vampire Princess Miyu Saku" will also be exhibited for the first time! Manga Artist "Shigemi Kakinouchi New Prints Presentation Exhibition 2019" to be held!

Narumi Kakinouchi, an animator, original drawings and drawing director for many famous works, as well as a manga artist, will hold a solo exhibition "Narumi Kakinouchi New Prints Presentation Exhibition 2019".

He has been in charge of many storyboards, drawing director, and original drawings for TV series anime such as "Vampire Princess Miyu" character design and drawing director, "Green Field Labyrinth" director, character design, drawing director...etc. He has been active in a wide range of fields, including animator, game character design, novel illustration, and card illustration, such as "Vampire Princess Series" (published by Akita Shoten) and "Ryoko Yakushiji's Mysterious Case Book Series" (published by Kodansha). The exhibition will be held at the Tokyo venue on November 15, 2019.

The exhibition will be held in Tokyo from November 15 (Fri.) to 17 (Sun.), 2019, and in Osaka from November 22 (Fri.) to 24 (Sun.), 2019, in two cities. With the exception of a few pieces, the exhibited works are also available for purchase.

The exhibition will feature approximately 30 original drawings, including never-before-seen color drawings of "Vampire Princess Miyu Saku" (Akita Shoten's "Mangacross"), as well as many prints he has created, including three new works.

In addition to the rare full-color original drawings used in "Saku," which will be exhibited for the first time, visitors will be able to see for the first time the newly-drawn prints that are currently being produced at the exhibition. All of Kakinouchi's works are hand-drawn, and have a fantastic and soft atmosphere with an "ooze" like an ink painting.

The original line drawings for the animations he has worked on are also on display for the first time, so visitors are sure to enjoy Kakinouchi's world.

In addition, Mr. Kakinouchi will hold a talk show on some days during the exhibition. In an at-home atmosphere, the artist himself will explain his thoughts and highlights of each work.

In addition, numbered tickets for the autograph session to be held after the talk show will be given to the first 100 people who purchase original goods including prints for 2,000 yen (tax included) or more.
